Ryan Westphal

Ryan Westphal is an Executive Director, Branch Manager with Wells Fargo Advisors, bringing more than 22 years of industry experience, including 12 years with Wells Fargo. He began his career with a foundation in baseball, where his passion for performance and analytics first developed, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in financial services. That early experience, combined with a background spanning banking and investments, helped shape his disciplined, team-oriented leadership approach.

Ryan is known for fostering a collaborative and growth-focused culture, taking pride in helping advisors and team members achieve both professional success and personal goals. He is particularly drawn to the dynamic nature of the industry and values the camaraderie that comes from working through constant change together. The Deerfield, IL office stands out as the only Wells Fargo Advisors location on the North Shore, offering convenient access from downtown via train and major highways, which enhances both client and advisor connectivity.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Ryan combines his professional commitment with a strong focus on family and community. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Nora, their four children—Michael, Elizabeth, Catherine Grace, and John—, and their dog Wilma as well as golfing and family activities. His approach reflects a belief in balance, resilience, and continuous improvement, both in business and in life.
