Ryan’s goal is to function as his client’s personal CFO and provide encompassing advice for all financial matters. He seeks to retain the confidence and trust of his clients through a commitment to integrity, professionalism, and excellence. His mission is to always place each client’s financial well-being before his own.

Background and experience

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2024, Ryan worked at UBS and Merrill Lynch helping executives and families with their wealth planning. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from West Virginia University (Let’s go Mountaineers!!). With an emphasis on continuing education, Ryan has obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board). For this designation, Ryan had to complete an extensive educational program, pass rigorous examinations and meet stringent experience requirements. Ryan also completed the Yale School of Management Executive Education Program to become a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) professional in 2023. Ryan also obtained the Sports and Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor TM designation (SE-AWMA TM) thru the College for Financial Planning. He also currently holds FINRA Registrations: Series 7, 66, and 86.

Away from the office

Community involvement is near and dear to Ryan’s heart. He is proud to be the Vice President for the West Virginia University Charlotte Alumni Chapter. He also volunteers for multiple organizations including HEART Math Tutoring, Crittenton of North Carolina, and The Association of Financial Educators. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his dog (Layla), cooking new cuisines, and golfing.
