Shawn P. Sanger, CPWA
Private Wealth Financial AdvisorManaging Director – Investments
By focusing on each investor's specific needs, Shawn develops strategies that help clients reach their financial goals. He has worked as a Financial Advisor to both individual and institutional investors since 2000. Shawn is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® which is an advanced professional certification for advisors who serve high net worth clients.
Background and experience
Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2003, Shawn was a financial advisor for Smith Barney. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and worked for several years in banking before making a career change to financial services.
Shawn’s mission is to provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice and portfolio management - delivered with the highest level of personal service and professional integrity.
Making sure his clients’ wealth continues to work in support of the goals they have established takes careful planning. Such planning is not a single event - it is a process. As life circumstances change, so must the investment strategies Shawn uses to stay on course toward meeting his clients’ objectives. He works one on one with his clients to design investment strategies targeted to their specific needs and goals. Although Shawn does not provide tax advice, he will help clients stay current with tax law changes and estate plan issues to help build, preserve, and protect their wealth - now and for generations to come.
Away from the office
Shawn enjoys serving his community and actively volunteers with The Salvation Army and Teammates Mentoring – Omaha.
Shawn lives with his wife, Kristi, in Omaha and their three children, Alec, Savannah, and Sierra. He is busy attending the girls’ volleyball games and swim meets while launching Alec into the real world after graduating the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Their favorite destination is the family cabin in the Lake of the Ozarks.

Todd E. DeMoss
Private Wealth Financial AdvisorManaging Director – Investments
For more than 24 years, Todd has served as the primary contact for clients and their families, developing and implementing integrated investment plans. He works primarily with high net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. Todd coordinates and builds Wells Fargo Advisors teams around his clients in order to provide highly personalized service and provides access to additional Wells Fargo affiliates as needed.
Background and experience
Todd began his career in 1991 as an associate with Dain Bosworth. In 1997, he joined Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor, opening the firm’s first Sioux City branch. He brought his expertise in retirement and investment planning to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2002. As a Private Wealth Financial Advisor, Managing Director – Investments, Todd has been trained specifically to work with complex financial situations for families and businesses.
Todd met his wife Jane while they were studying at Drake University, where he earned his B.S.B.A in International Business. They have been happily married since 1994.
Away from the office
Todd lives in Omaha with his wife Jane. Their three sons, Jack, Gage, and Sam are busy launching into the “real world”. They recently added a wonderful daughter-in-law and an energetic grand-puppy to the family!
When not advising clients, Todd especially enjoys hunting and fishing, traveling with his wife and spending time with their family at Lake of the Ozarks. He does not claim to be a golfer, but will embarrass himself for charity events from time to time.
Todd is past president of the Siouxland Community Foundation where he served on the board as head of the investment committee. He is also a past president of the Sioux City Optimist Club, former Director of SBL Youth Football, and past chair of SBL-CSD Facility Advisory Committee. He is currently serving as a mentor in the TeamMates post-secondary mentoring program.

Carol Voloshen
Senior Registered Client AssociateCarol strives to ensure that our clients’ administrative, investing, and operational needs are handled accurately and timely.
Background and experience
For over 15 years Carol has assisted clients to confirm all necessary financial information is obtained, detailed, and completed. Her mission is to provide the highest level of professional administrative service as clients’ current and future needs arise.
Carol began her financial services career at Edward Jones where she developed her fundamental investment knowledge. In her current Wells Fargo role, she handles the day-to-day administration of accounts and sales support to the team. She is also serving her second year as a point of contact to the WF National Client Associate Advisory Council, who work together to improve processes and efficiencies. Carol holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations. She also holds a State of Iowa Insurance license.
A native of Southern Indiana, Carol previously worked in the insurance field where she met her husband. She has resided in Sioux City for almost 25 years and happy to call it home. She enjoys meeting new people, developing client relationships, and striving for excellence in her day-to-day interactions.
Away from the office
Away from the office Carol enjoys spending time with her husband, Ed, a Sioux City firefighter, and her children, Eddie and Ella. She and her husband support their involvement at Iowa State University while settling into empty nesting. They enjoy organizing activities and being involved in outreach for their local church and community. In her free time, Carol enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, yoga and traveling adventures.

Danielle Beukelman
Marketing Client AssociateDanielle strives to serve clients with a high degree of professionalism while handling service and operational needs along with coordinating and executing marketing campaigns.
Background and experience
As a marketing client associate, Danielle primarily focuses on utilizing Wells Fargo Advisor’s proprietary Envision® program to assist the Financial Advisors in developing strategies based on each individual’s specific needs. Through her assistance, she is also dedicated to providing business development and marketing strategy support, preparing portfolio reviews, and documenting client contact. Similarly, she analyzes and reviews data from Advisor’s book of business as well as coordinates advertising.
Danielle began her career as a Loan Servicing Specialist in West Des Moines. Soon after, she relocated to Sioux City where she spent two years providing exceptional communication and operational services for clients as a Home Loan Processor. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2013 to assist the Financial Advisors in providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families. Danielle holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 registrations. She also holds a State of Iowa Insurance license.
Away from the office
Away from the office, Danielle enjoys spending time with her architect husband, Lee, and their two children, Japheth & Samantha. She loves coaching their sports teams and supporting their school functions. They are active in their church and spend any free time completing home remodel projects. Danielle also enjoys reading, competitive running, soccer, hiking and traveling the world.

Melissa Panning
Registered Client AssociateMelissa strives to ensure that our clients’ administrative and operational needs are completed in a timely fashion.
Background and experience
As a client associate Melissa works with clients to maintain accuracy of records and complete administrative services for clients’ current and emerging financial needs.
Melissa began her career with Wells Fargo Bank in 2012 as a teller and has held the positions of lead teller, personal banker, and service manager. As a banker, Melissa serviced accounts ensuring the proper paperwork was documented and worked with clients to achieve their financial goals. As a service manager Melissa built a team ready to meet customer arrivals and requests. When met with challenges she quickly found solutions to help ensure client satisfaction.
Melissa joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2019 as a client associate. In this role, she focuses on providing excellent administrative service through proactive client contact. Melissa enjoys making connections with clients to understand them on a personal level. Melissa holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registration. She also holds a State of Nebraska Insurance license.
Away from the office
Away from the office Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and their four children, Christopher, Nathan, Theo, Vincent. They are active in their local church and spend free time playing outdoors on their acreage. Melissa also enjoys spending time reading, finding new recipes, and gardening.
