James D. (Jim) Stanford joined Prudential Securities in September of 1993.  To this day, he remains with the same firm, even though the name on the door has changed several times.  Having begun his investment career in 1991 with a private trust company, he became securities registered in 1992 and moved his investment practice to Prudential Securities in 1993.  Prudential Securities became Wachovia Securities (2006).  In 2008, it became Wells Fargo Advisors.  The Stanford-Jernigan Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, functions as a team with a well diversified group of advisors and support staff.

Backed by the vast resources of  Wells Fargo & Company, Wells Fargo Advisors, and many outside investment management firms, Jim's practice focuses on serving the planning and investment needs of his clients.  As a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA®), his primary role is a consultant to corporate retirement plans, trusts, family limited partnerships, affluent individuals and retirees from the Retirement Plans to which he consults.  Through his affiliation with IMCA®, he attained the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation in 1999.  He attends numerous industry conferences each year to remain informed of industry trends and legislative changes which may affect his clients.  In recognition of his achievements, Jim has been awarded the Wells Fargo Premier Advisors distinction since 2011, which is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on either of the past two years, and professionalism. Additional criteria, including length of service, may also be used to determine recipients.  Due to his experience in consulting and advisory business, he serves on the National Advisory Council for the Wells Fargo Advisors' Advisory Services Group.

Jim and his wife Debbie are both graduates of Baylor University.  They live in Colleyville, Texas and have two children, John Thomas and Staci.  Jim and his family are very active in their church, First Baptist of Colleyville.  Jim enjoys Bible studies, flying, photography, travelling with his family (including mission trips), and an occasional round of golf.

Bill joined the Fort Worth branch of Prudential Securities in July 1998.  He remained with the company as it became Wachovia Securities and now Wells Fargo Advisors.  In September 2008, Bill joined the Stanford-Jernigan Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, believing that the team approach enhances the full range of financial services offered to his clients.

Bill works with clients in designing portfolios that seek to balance risk, growth, and income, helping them to reach their financial goals.  His foundational philosophy is that the capital markets are "fluid" and "dynamic" in nature, always evolving and reacting to an ever-changing global marketplace.  He therefore employs "dynamic" rather than "static" investment strategies to assist in managing risk, growth, and income needs.

In his personal life, Bill seeks to apply the philosophy of the late Dallas Cowboys coach, Tom Landry in putting faith first, family second and vocation third, believing these priorities best enable him in all life's endeavors.  He grew up in the Shreveport/Bossier area of Northwest Louisiana, graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, and pursued a graduate degree from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  Sharon Roland Gardner has been his wife for over 30 years and they have three sons, Will, Garland, and Sam.  Sharon and Bill seek to grow their faith and service at the First United Methodist Church of Colleyville.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading, gardening, and an occasional run.
