Stuart began his career in the financial services industry more than 40 years ago as a commercial lender. While he enjoyed providing services and advice to businesses, he felt more fulfilled helping the individuals and families who owned those businesses, which inspired him to become a Private Wealth Advisor.
Having spent his summers working on his family farm, Stuart learned the value that comes from hard work and achieving optimum results through the right tools, approach, and ethics. He carries those lessons to this day, living The Golden Rule by treating and guiding his clients’ wealth as if it was his own.
Stuart believes a higher purpose can be achieved through a team approach, which is why he leverages the knowledge of specialists in their respective fields to help clients meet their lifetime goals.
Stuart has been married to his wife, Katie, for 39 years, and they have two sons who both live in the Raleigh area. Bill is proud to be providing multi-generational guidance to the same people and families now as he did when he first started in the industry 45 years ago. His steadying hand and long-term strategic planning focus have proven invaluable to clients during the boom-and-bust cycles of the past four decades.
After graduating in 1978 from Campbell University with a degree in Business Administration and Trust Management, he worked for the US Treasury Department as an Examiner with the Comptroller of the Currency in Memphis, Tennessee for two years. He then achieved his goal of working for Wachovia Bank, where he served as Sr. Trust Officer and Regional Trust Officer before he was appointed as Resident Director of Merrill Lynch in Durham, North Carolina.
In 2017, Bill joined Wells Fargo Advisors as part of the Private Bank Hub in Raleigh, where he works with highly-skilled investment, tax and planning professionals to serve those with complex wealth needs.
Bill believes his ability to set realistic outcomes, help clients state and prioritize their goals, as well as his adherence to the principles of financial stewardship are responsible for his trusted reputation in this specialized profession.
For Courtney, estate planning is a family thing in more ways than one.
She learned firsthand how vital investment planning is to wealth preservation from her uncle, who is a Estate Planning attorney. Their bond inspired her to pursue a career in financial services.
After earning her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and JD from Campbell University School of Law, she worked as a Trust Officer and Trusts and Estates Attorney. But she soon realized she could make a bigger difference as a wealth manager. By forming lasting relationships with clients, she helps deliver tailored investment and estate planning services throughout their lives.
Today, Courtney’s found her calling as the “go-to” coordinator for multi-generational families who want to simplify the complexities their wealth presents.
Though she is not currently practicing, her legal background plays an important role in her daily responsibilities as she reviews estate plans, Trust documents and answers consequential questions for her clients. She also serves as the liaison between client CPAs and Estate Planning Attorneys to ensure all parties are fully informed and involved.
A native of Elizabeth City, NC, Courtney enjoys spending time at Nags Head with her family, reading historical fiction and training her dogs Poppy and Louie.

As a Private Wealth Financial Consultant, Morgan works closely with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and families to develop and implement investment plans and strategies for accumulating and preserving wealth, while helping them build confidence in their financial goals and objectives.
Morgan uses eMoney®, one of the industry’s top planning software, to help clients make informed financial decisions through an interactive and collaborative planning process to establish personalized goals and build comprehensive plans tailored for her clients by aligning their investments and objectives. As needs and goals evolve, she can model and simulate multiple scenarios that provide potential assumption and asset allocation impact as well as provide funding status and probability of success for individual and overall goals.
Her comprehensive and holistic approach to wealth management includes cash flow planning and analysis, Envision's Monte Carlo simulation, retirement planning, estate planning strategies and everything in between.
Morgan is proof that preserving and extending a legacy is not just defined by the wealth or estate one leaves for their family. One’s legacy can be made of intangibles - their core values, ethics and philanthropic interests they wish to pass on to the future generations. Morgan attributes her strong work ethic to her father, a successful former business owner and respected member of his community, who still balances his checkbook by hand every month. These values inspired Morgan to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner designation from the CFP® Board of Standards, Inc., which mandates completing approved educational programs, passing rigorous examinations, and meeting stringent experience requirements. Morgan also holds both B.A. and B.S. degrees from East Carolina University and has obtained her FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Morgan and her husband live in Raleigh, NC with their two children, Thompson and Sayers.
IMPORTANT: The projections or other information generated by eMoney regarding the likelihood of various investment outcomes are hypothetical in nature, do not reflect actual investment results and are not guarantees of future results. Results may vary with each use and over time.
Based on accepted statistical methods, eMoney uses a mathematical process used to implement complex statistical methods that chart the probability of certain financial outcomes at certain times in the future. This charting is accomplished by generating hundreds of possible economic scenarios that could affect the performance of your investments. Using Monte Carlo simulation this report uses up to 1000 scenarios to determine the probability of outcomes resulting from the asset allocation choices and underlying assumptions regarding rates of return and volatility of certain asset classes. Some of these scenarios will assume very favorable financial market returns, consistent with some of the best periods in investing history for investors. Some scenarios will conform to the worst periods in investing history. Most scenarios will fall somewhere in between.
