Mikki began her financial services career with UBS Financial in 2006 and transitioned to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2014. In 2013, she completed an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning at Duke University; coursework included topics such as general principles of financial strategies, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, and retirement and estate planning strategies. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Mikki earned her B.A. in Women Studies from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mikki’s commitment to service carries over to her involvement in our community. She has served in multiple positions on the Board of Business and Professional Women (BPW) of the Triangle, including Co-President 2016-18.  BPW is a non-profit established in 1919 that is dedicated to advocating for women personally, politically and professionally. She also served on NC State University’s Gender Studies and Women’s Center Community Advisory Board.

Although an upstate New York native, Mikki has lived in North Carolina for over 30 years and is happy to call Apex home. Away from the office, she enjoys painting and spending time with her husband, Donald, and amazingly smart and active teenage son, Spencer.
