Prior to becoming a Partner at Wellesley Private Advisors, Christian was a Vice President, Investments at UBS Financial and previously worked at Tucker Anthony, where he began his career in the financial services industry.
Christian is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, as well as life and annuity licenses for the state of Massachusetts. In addition, Christian holds the industry designation of Certified Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®). He has also completed coursework to meet ongoing professional education requirements.
Christian is an active Mason and Past Master of Mt. Lebanon Lodge A.F. & A.M., as well as a member of St. Paul's Royal Arch Chapter and the Boston Council of Royal and Select Masters. He also served on the Board of Governors for the Scottish Rite Learning Center for Dyslexic children. In his free time, Christian enjoys golf, skiing, scuba diving, and fishing.

Peter Nee is a Partner of Wellesley Private Advisors and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®). He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Peter works to provide a highly personalized, custom client experience by offering independent, objective, and comprehensive advice to successful individuals, families, and select foundations and endowments. For families and individuals, he can offer extensive knowledge in tax-efficient income generation, retirement planning, and generating cash flow in retirement. For foundations and endowments, Peter specializes in developing strategies and plans to help generate cash flow for ongoing institutional and program support.
He firmly believes in building enduring relationships with his clients that are built on mutual respect and confidence. A core tenet of his investment strategy is to start by forming a comprehensive investment plan to serve as a roadmap. He then implements a strategic and tactical portfolio asset allocation designed to minimize risk and potentially maximize potential returns.
Prior to becoming a partner at Wellesley Private Advisors, he was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he built a boutique wealth management practice. He was responsible for training new Financial Advisors in their responsibilities and in the construction and management of client portfolios. He subsequently moved his practice to UBS, where he continued to assist clients in
preserving their wealth.
He is a member of the Union Club of Boston, The Boston Athenaeum, The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts, a number of Masonic bodies, and the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem, where he holds the rank of "Grand Officer." He has also been conferred Knighthood by Pope Francis in the Equestrian Order of St. Sylvester Pope and Martyr.
Peter is a graduate of Rothesay Collegiate School, a Canadian military academy, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Gordon College. At Gordon, an Evangelical Christian liberal arts school, he held a number of student leadership positions and was an active volunteer in the community.
Darrell Brown is a Senior Vice President of Wellesley Private Advisors. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Darrell’s mission is to provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice, delivered with the highest level of personal service and professional integrity.
Darrell is dedicated to helping individuals meet their financial objectives. For many years, Darrell’s approach has been unchanged. He works with clients to develop well thought out investment plans, appropriately modeled for risk, and designed to help his clients achieve their goals.
Over the past 30 years, Darrell has worked in the Boston area as an investment advisor at US Trust Bank and Wells Fargo Advisors (previously Prudential Securities and Wachovia Securities.) Throughout his career, he has built long term relationships with his clients based on trust. He believes his experience has allowed him to guide even the more savvy of investors through market turmoil.
Darrell is a dedicated family man. He has been married for 28 years to Nancy, and they have three children. His family keeps him quite busy when he’s not in the office. He has volunteered for just about every assignment a parent could imagine as his children grew up. Lastly, Darrell graduated Middlebury College in Middlebury Vermont.

Tad Connelly is a Director at Wellesley Private Advisors and has more than 35 years of experience in the investment industry. Tad provides his clients with financial strategies tailored to their individual investment objectives, personal risk tolerance, and time horizon. He utilizes his extensive knowledge to work to deliver a high level of attention to clients' changing capital needs and investment goals. His areas of specialization include managing investment priorities, pre- and post-retirement planning, and funding customized health care solutions.
Prior to joining Wellesley Private Advisors, Tad represented Citigroup/Smith Barney, Calamos Investments, and Pioneer Investments in investment advisory and institutional management of clients' portfolios. His experience includes working with private wealth clients, 401(k) providers, and other financial professionals.
Tad is a graduate of Noble and Greenough School, and holds a BA from Connecticut College. He also holds the Series 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations.
Away from the office, Tad is an active Mason, belonging to The Lodge of Saint Andrew, where he serves as a senior officer. He enjoys participating in volunteer and charitable activities organized by the Boston District Masons.
Tad lives in Wellesley with his wife, Emily. They spend time caring for the family dogs, enjoy DIY home improvement projects, and stay active by biking, running, playing tennis, snowboarding, and hiking with the dogs.
Eric Gilleo is the Director of Operations at Wellesley Private Advisors and has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. Eric handles responsibility for day-to-day operations, oversees business management and assists the partners in working to deliver a superior level of client service for the practice.
His thorough understanding of brokerage operations and financial industry regulations is an integral part of his ability to support team members in adhering to compliance and administrative requirements. During his career, he has provided business support and technology assistance to over 100 advisors, in addition to serving the diverse needs of their clients.
Prior to joining Wellesley Private Advisors, Eric was with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in a variety of roles including Senior Operations Representative, Resident Director's Assistant, and Administrative Assistant. Before getting his start in the financial services industry, he worked in the social services field as a Lead Shift Supervisor at the Dr. Franklin Perkins School in Lancaster, MA, where he oversaw the day-to-day care of behaviorally challenged children and assisted in the on-site school program.
A Massachusetts-born native, Eric lives in Somerville, MA, and is an avid art collector. He is also a music lover and frequently attends the opera when not adding to his immense personal music collection. Eric has been a volunteer for the Big Brother/Big Sister of Central Massachusetts and has enjoyed mentoring the children who are part of the organization and watching them grow. He likes caring for his exotic pets when not at work. Eric also dabbles in interior design and recently has taken a keen interest in painting.
Janet is an Client Associate at Wellesley Private Advisors. She assists Eric Gilleo, Director of Operations in the day-to-day operations of the practice.
Prior to joining Wellesley Private Advisors, Janet was an office manager for a commercial real estate mortgage brokerage firm. Before children, she was a Database Administrator for various defense contractors in the Washington, D.C. area.
Originally from Virginia, Janet is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Mathematics. She lives in Wellesley, MA with her husband and three sons. She spends her free time reading and watching her boys swim.
