Our planning process is built on a foundation of open and honest conversations. We take a three meeting approach when starting a new client relationship.
Meeting One – Are we the right fit?
Our first meeting is usually an in-person or teleconference introduction, where we will spend the majority of our time listening. While we will explain how we operate, we want to hear about you and your family, your goals and passions, and other questions or concerns on your mind. If we mutually agree that our team is a fit for your needs, we will schedule time for meeting two.
Meeting Two – Gathering the data
Our second meeting is focused on data collection. We will request that you provide relevant statements, contracts and other related information in attempt to conduct a comprehensive financial analysis. Additionally, we will revisit specific goals, such as early retirement or funding education, and where they fall on your priority list. By aggregating all of this information, we will be able to create your customized plan.
Meeting Three – Presenting the plan
The final meeting begins with the presentation of your plan and any accompanying recommendations. We will discuss how to prioritize and implement any recommendations according to best practices, along with all costs associated with our service*. Normally, we recommend you take your time to digest the material provided and inform us if you would like to move forward with a formal relationship. *Initial meeting and plan development are complimentary
Next Steps – Relax and let us do the work!
Once you decide to hire us as your team of advisors, we will go through the account opening process, which usually takes a week or so to complete. Now it’s time for you to relax while we implement your plan. As change is almost always certain, we will continue to meet regularly to help ensure you remain on track to achieve your financial goals.
