Our Commitment to You

We work hard to serve our clients’ best interests through careful planning and transparent actions. When working with us, you’ll know the reasons for our recommendations and any fees associated with them. You’ll receive timely attention when you have a concern or question. And we can work together in person, by phone, or via email – whichever works best for you.

I work with individuals, families and business owners seeking advice to create a financial roadmap to help meet their life goals. I listen as they envision their future, work with them to create financial goals, advise them on financial choices and assist them in implementing their plan. I believe communication coupled with objective, tailored advice and exceptional service are the cornerstones to a successful client relationship. The personalized services that I provide are backed by the resources of one of the largest and most respected financial institutions.

I began my career as a financial advisor in 1991 so have the experience of advising clients through up and down markets. And as a business owner myself, I am attuned to the opportunities and challenges business owners face.

I earned a degree in finance from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Shortly after graduation, at age 22, I founded Chrysalis, an organization that provides employment and housing opportunities. Located in Los Angeles, California. Although I no longer work there, I am proud that it is still thriving more than three decades later.

From my first job, through today, I have focused on understanding what financial resources and tools are needed to achieve goals. I enjoy helping someone to work to reach meaningful milestones with their lives such as retiring with financial security or funding education so that their children are not encumbered with student loan debt.

My wife Debbie and I raised our three children in Rockville, MD.  We moved to Annapolis when our youngest daughter went to college.  Debbie joined me in opening Dillon Wealth Management.

When I’m not giving financial advice, I relax by sailing, traveling and spending time with family. I also enjoy reading and learning about history. Debbie and I are sponsor parents to Midshipmen at the Naval Academy and enjoy getting to know these future leaders.  I’ve been a Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA), Treasurer of Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center, Board member of the Community Preservation and Development Corporation, graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel (2015) and Leadership Montgomery (1994). I also served as Board member and Chairman of the Montgomery County (MD) Chamber of Commerce, Board member of Leadership Montgomery, and Board member of Montgomery College Foundation.
