I enjoy spending my free time with my wife, Amy, a physician, and our daughters, Emma and Charlotte. On most weekends I can be found on a field either coaching soccer or rooting one of our daughters' multiple teams on. I am also an avid sports fan, particularly favoring the Yankees, Giants, and Devils. I am an avid cyclist and help raise money for various charities through this. I also volunteer at my local cycling club to lead bike rides as well as serving in a leadership capacity. Amy and myself look forward to sharing our many hobbies with our daughters as they get older.

John Masotti, a Senior Financial Advisor at Watchung Wealth Management of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, has the innate ability to come up with investment planning solutions for his clients. John credits his communications and execution as the reasons his clients turn to him with confidence during bull or bear markets. When they start using him as an advisor, he looks forward to serving them forever. John values building relationships, deepening them, and partnering with his clients for the long haul.
John understands his clients’ needs. He gets that life changes—gets that the markets change. He knows how to be proactive. The complexity of the market is a draw for him. He knows how to change his strategy to get his clients from where they are to where they want to be. When political and social events interrelate to cause a change in the economic environment, it matters to him more than anything that he does the best for his clients through it all.
Formerly a Financial Advisor for Wells Fargo Advisors, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch, he’s managed his clients’ money through good and bad economic times ... the 1999-2000 tech bubble, the 2008 bear market, and the bull market from 2009 to 2022. His experience, financial acumen, agility, and his ability to develop the right strategy for his clients at the right time make him stand out as a financial professional.
He came to Wall Street out of college, graduating from the Ansell School of Business at Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. When he’s not managing money, he loves spending time with his wife, Carly, and their nine-year-old daughter, Evangeline. He spends much of his leisure time snowboarding. He’s already got Evangeline out on the slopes. He’s run four New York City marathons and competed in an Iron Man triathlon. He’s an avid soccer player and cyclist, too.
Plus, right up there on that list of things he loves are his clients. His commitment to them is constant. He’s there for them always. When their lives change. When the market changes. When they just want to talk or ask questions. John’s with them each and every time to help them reach their financial goals.

For over two decades I have helped clients address their financial concerns by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. I began my career as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Wachovia Bank, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Bank, in 2005, I was a Vice President/Relationship Manager at JPMorgan Chase Bank’s Personal Financial Services. It was there that I developed my foundation of investment knowledge.
In 2013 I transitioned to Wells Fargo Advisors. I use my investment background to implement investment portfolios that reflect my client’s goals and objectives. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lehigh University. I grew up in Glen Ridge, NJ and currently live in New Providence, NJ.
Away from the office, I spend my free time with my wife, Candee, and my children, Colin and Rylie. We like to stay active both physically and mentally, whether it’s working out, playing sports or raising money for Susan G Komen Foundation, as Candee is a two time breast cancer survivor. I especially enjoy coaching little leagues as well as playing tennis, soccer and softball.
