Ed began his career within the financial services industry in 2004. Since then, he has focused on goals-based planning, full balance sheet wealth management and building personal relationships with his clients. Ed and his team work directly with individuals, families, business owners, and executives toward executing the custom goals they set out to achieve. He has been recognized as a 2015, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 Platinum Council Advisor. For years 2023 and prior The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure. In 2024 and 2025 The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production from the previous year and professionalism.
Ed earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board). For this designation, he completed approved education programs, passed rigorous examinations, and met stringent experience requirements. The Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification signifies that an individual has met initial and ongoing experience, ethical, education, and examination requirements for investment management consulting, including advanced investment management theory and application. To earn CIMA certification, candidates must: submit an application, pass a background check and have an acceptable regulatory history; complete an in-person or online executive education program through a Registered Education Provider; pass an online Certification Examination; Pass a second background check; and have three years of financial service experience at the time of certification. Ed completed his executive education program through Yale School of Management.
CIMA certificants must adhere to the Investments & Wealth Institute’s Code of Professional Responsibility, and Rules and Guidelines for Use of the Marks. CIMA designees must report 40 hours of continuing education credits, including two ethics hours, every two years to maintain certification.
Ed and his wife Lindsey, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) have two daughters: Elynn Marie and Austyn Michele.
