My journey to becoming a financial advisor was somewhat unconventional. Looking back, I was in my late twenties, and I had read a small and simple book on personal finance called “The Richest Man in Babylon”. After reading this book and others like it, it was like a light bulb had flipped on in my head and my first thought was ‘Why hadn’t anyone given me this information before?’ Armed with my newfound knowledge on financial literacy, I started my career as a financial advisor in January of 2001.

There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way, but I truly enjoy what I do. I have 23 years of experience and I’m privileged to help individuals, families, and businesses make sound decisions with their wealth for today and for their future. I have learned and continue to learn so much about managing wealth wisely and now, my passion is to share the knowledge, wisdom, and experience with our clients who place their trust in us.
As a lifelong learner dedicated to the profession of financial advice, I earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation back in 2006. More recently, I have earned the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) designation in 2022. The  curriculum and continuing education required for these designations helps me serve and guide our clients better.

As an avid volunteer, I have been involved in various community activities. I am a former member of the Endowment Committee for St. Philip the Apostle School and previously chaired White Memorial Hospital's annual golf tournament. One of the most impactful experiences was traveling to Tecate, Mexico, with my son Quentin and other Loyola High School students and fathers to build a home for a family in need.
In my spare time, I am passionate about coaching youth sports. I have been a volunteer coach for the Pasadena Trojans Pop Warner youth football program (2005-2015) and coached the St. Philip Boys Varsity Basketball team (2009-2019). Additionally, I have volunteered with the YWCA, AYSO, and Brotherhood Crusade youth sports programs over the years.

A Southern California native, I grew up in Eagle Rock, attended Eagle Rock High School and met the love of my life there, Connie, my wife of almost 30 years now. Connie and I have two adult children that we are especially grateful for, our daughter Ciana who is a marriage and family therapist and son Quentin who joined the family business and is a financial advisor.

I am a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠. I have over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Through my experience as a Financial Advisor I have come to focus on families and their wealth management needs. Seeing clients achieve their most important financial goals is truly gratifying. It provides me the motivation to continue this noble calling. I have also gained the understanding that in today’s complicated world, it is my duty to bring clarity, sincerity, and integrity to my clients’ financial lives.

Giving back to the local community is important to me. I have established a platform for local women professionals to come together to share ideas, knowledge, and opportunities. I also find pleasure in offering a lending hand to the transitional youth population of a local non-profit organization, Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services.

The last 28 years have blessed me with a wonderful marriage to my high school sweetheart. Eric and I have raised two beautiful children who are now young, thriving adults. As an empty nester, I enjoy spending my free time trying new cooking recipes (the spicier the better), catching a good movie, working on small home improvement projects, and being an active member of a book club.

I have been an avid saver for as long as I can remember. When I was
growing up, I heard many stories about how money could either make a
positive impact or cause stress in people's lives. This motivated me to major
in economics in college and not only become an avid saver, but also a
planner for the future.

As a Financial Advisor, I love helping individuals and businesses develop
investment plans that align with their needs, goals, and risk tolerance. My
mission is to provide every client with customized, comprehensive financial
advice as well as portfolio management ideas that are delivered with the
highest level of personal service and professional integrity.

I am a member of the Garcia Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo
Advisors and we collectively have over 60 years of investment advisory
experience as well as a qualified support staff to help our clients with every
step of their financial journey.

I am a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, a private Jesuit university
in Los Angeles, California. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics
and am a recipient of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honors Society Award,
which is granted to undergraduate students who have demonstrated
scholastic attainment and outstanding achievements in economics.

In my free time, I enjoy reading financial industry publications and delving
deep into investment research. I also love snowboarding, playing video
games, and taking long walks.

Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Lynda grew up in Glendale CA, where she attended Hoover High School and Glendale Community College. She began her career in the financial industry at Merrill Lynch in 1981 where she spent 18 years before her move to Wells Fargo Advisors in 1999. Lynda enjoys helping clients with their day-to-day financial needs and strives to be prompt and attentive to all requests. In her spare time, she enjoys concerts, films and quality time with family and friends.
