Jacob Johnson
Financial AdvisorJacob’s practice is built upon trust, sound advice through planning and building lifelong relationships.
Before entering the financial services industry, Jacob graduated from Simpson College with degrees in International Management and Spanish while minoring in Economics. He has been with Wells Fargo & Co. for over 19 years. While working at Wells Fargo, he has spent time as a Private Banker in Ankeny, Iowa; as a District Manager in Des Moines, Iowa; and as a Private Banking Manager for Iowa/ Illinois. Now, as a Senior Financial Advisor with the Ankeny office of Wells Fargo Advisors, he continues to take pride in working for a firm that puts you first.
Jacob has been recognized by Forbes over the years. Most recently by Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors in 2023 and 2024. Jacob was also named Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor Best In State in 2019. *
Jacob’s mission is to help each one of his clients plan for a financial future in a way that best meets his or her goals, and his commitment to his clients and to his community doesn't end there. He has been an active member of the community currently with his local church, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Central Iowa, Principal Charity Classic, The Sean Nielsen Foundation, and helping with Hands on Banking in our local schools.
Away from the office, he enjoys traveling, golfing, coaching children's sports, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family and friends. Jacob and his wife Kathy, live in Huxley with their children Kaylor, Khloe, and Klaire.

Christin Aldridge
Financial AdvisorChristin joined Wells Fargo & Company in 2003. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Christin spent time as a Teller, Banker, and Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Indianola, Iowa; a RB District Manager in Des Moines, Iowa; and an Affluent Segment Leader for Iowa/ Illinois/Kansas/Nebraska. Before entering the financial services industry, Christin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. While attending Simpson College, she was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
Christin and her husband, Casey, live in Indianola, Iowa. Together, they have 5 children: Cael, Bryce, Carson, Grady, and Kendall. Away from the office, Christin enjoys supporting her children in their extracurricular activities, tackling new DIY projects with her husband, and spending time with family and friends. Christin has served on the board of directors for several local non-profit organizations and is passionate about volunteering in the communities where she both lives and works.
Hunter VanderWaal
Financial ConsultantHunter holds his Series 7 and Series 66 registrations as well as his life and health insurance licenses. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Hunter spent time at both Lincoln Financial and Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa.
Away from the office, Hunter enjoys spending time outdoors with his trusty bird dogs, Harper and Remi. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing. Hunter also has a passion for the sport of wrestling. He is part of the Indianola High School wrestling staff that was recently recognized as Class 3-A Coach of the Year at the 2024 State Tournament, and he stays involved in AAU wrestling events for youth of all ages.
Hunter lives in Indianola, Iowa, where he graduated High School and attended Simpson College. Hunter earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Megan Martelli
Client AssociateMegan has been in the financial services industry since 2017. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, she was a Teller and Personal Banker for Wells Fargo Bank in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, where she assisted clients with their day-to-day banking needs. Megan was also a Service Manager in Ankeny, Iowa, where she managed bank operations for the teller line.
Outside of the office, Megan enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Adam, being outdoors, gardening and playing with her 4 dogs - Doug, Cookie, Jimmy, and Hobi. She has also recently developed a new love for making homemade dog treats!
Kathy Johnson
Client AssociateKathy graduated from Simpson College where she studied International Management and Spanish. She continued her education at Drake University where she earned her M.A. in Teaching. She started with Wells Fargo out of college as a personal banker, and then service manager. She stepped away from the financial industry for 10 years to teach high school Spanish before coming back to Wells Fargo to join the Johnson & Aldridge Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.
Kathy lives in Huxley with her husband, Jacob, and their three children: Kaylor, Khloe and Klaire. Kathy enjoys hosting and spending time with neighbors, friends, and family. When not supporting her girls in an auditorium or nearby gym, she is active in serving her church as well as volunteering in the local schools and community.
