Amanda Bedgood Collins
Financial Advisor
First Vice President - Investments
My mission is to connect meaning to money and provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice and investment management - delivered with the highest level of personal service and professional integrity. I am dedicated to helping individuals and businesses develop financial and investment strategies that line up with their needs, goals and risk tolerance.
I work with families whose plans include retirement accounts, taxable accounts, trusts, estates, foundations, endowments, family limited partnerships, business entities, etc. My team and I assist with management of assets ranging from traditional security investments, including equity, fixed income, commodities, cash alternatives and/or alternatives investments, to business interests, real estate and oil, gas, and minerals. We can provide clients with access to a team of specialists and work with their tax and legal advisors to assess all aspects of their financial plan. In conjunction with our clients' tax and legal advisors, we assist with education planning, insurance planning, retirement planning, tax planning, and estate planning.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, I was a practicing attorney for 8 years specializing in real estate, probate, contracts, municipal law, estate planning, and fiduciary litigation. I am no longer offering these services in my current role.
In addition to helping my clients, I am committed to helping my community. I am passionate about advocating for the needs of children. I currently serve on the Golden Crescent CASA board of directors. Most recently, I have gotten involved coaching my son’s soccer team. I am a member of the following professional organizations: Junior League of Victoria (Past Treasurer), Victoria County Bar Association (Past President), Texas Young Lawyers Association, Texas Exes Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
I am lucky to live and raise my tween boy and twin toddlers in the same community where I was born and raised, among my family and friends. My husband, Shane, is a veteran and now a consultant in school safety and emergency response management. Family is often the most important part of my clients’ lives and similarly, family is my reason for everything.
Eric Heidrich
Private Wealth Senior Registered Client Associate
Eric has been putting customers first since joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2007. He believes customer service is a lost art in today’s world, and strives to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients and colleagues every day. He is driven by his passion for doing good for people, and always aspiring to uphold the Golden Rule. As Aaron Ralston’s assistant, he interacts daily with clients to answer questions, address requests, solve challenges and help manage their accounts. In addition, he is responsible for ensuring day-to-day office operations run efficiently and effectively.
Eric credits his strong work ethic to how he was raised, and his ability to successfully interact with many different people to his diverse early career background, which includes roles as a fiberglass boat builder and gas treatment plant operator. He is a responsive, hands-on professional with remarkable attention to detail and seemingly limitless energy. A problem-solver in and out of the office, Eric takes pride in being able to find a solution for anything — and won’t quit until he does.
Originally from Bay City, Eric lives in Victoria with his wife, Kristi, who was his college sweetheart, and their two young children: Hatley and Holden. His two passions are his family and helping people. He is an active volunteer in his church and uses his woodworking skills to build items for charitable auctions in his community. He enjoys being outside and working the land on his tractor. He is also an accomplished cook known for BBQing meat and cooking fried rice hibachi-style on his flat top, which is a particular favorite of his kids.
