Andrew Y Low
Private Wealth Financial Advisor
Andrew Low has dedicated his practice to helping privately held business owners navigate the complex transition from entrepreneur to life prior to a liquidity event. The roots of this commitment run deep. Years ago, Andrew was responsible for winding down his father’s company. Watching decades of his parents’ sacrifice erode under taxes and transaction costs left a lasting impression. He realized that with earlier, more holistic planning, the outcome could have been very different for his family. From that moment, he resolved to build a career that empowers other owners to avoid a similar fate, preserve more of their hard-earned proceeds, and redirect those resources toward family priorities, charitable passions, and new ventures.
Andrew began his financial services career in 2000 after working in the nonprofit sector, a background that refined his ability to listen, build trust, and explain complex ideas in relatable terms. In the spring of 2026 Andrew joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Private Wealth Financial Advisor, Managing Director – Investments, and now collaborates with client's advisors that serves business owners in California and nationwide. Each engagement starts with an in-depth discovery conversation that often includes the client’s spouse and outside advisors. Andrew explores their vision for family, philanthropy, lifestyle, and legacy, then designs a coordinated wealth strategy intended to seek improved after-tax outcomes and support long-term goals. Drawing on a menu of twenty-four planning techniques, he walks clients through the pros and cons of each idea, coordinating closely with legal and tax professionals before guiding step-by-step implementation.
Andrew is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities registrations in addition to life and health insurance licenses. A graduate of UCLA, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis on interpersonal communication and completed the university’s Additional Program in Business Administration.
Service to community remains central to Andrew’s life. He has served as an elder at Mariners Church for fourteen years, sits on the advisory board for UC Irvine’s Center for Investment and Wealth Management, volunteers with the Exit Planning Institute in Orange County, and leads several professional networking groups. At home, Andrew and his wife are enjoying their new empty-nest chapter. They host a bi-weekly Bible study, stay active with softball and pickleball, and cherish visits with their two adult daughters.
