(570) 313-5669Bob has been in financial services for 28 years and has spent most of his life in Northeast Pennsylvania, graduating from King’s College with a degree in Political Science and Economics. He really began his financial career earlier when he was a Non-Commissioned officer in the Military. “I would have to counsel these young soldiers, many of whom were away from home for the first time, on a variety of financial topics to keep them out of mischief. From how to balance a checkbook to how to invest. I found I really enjoyed it.” Shortly after graduating from college, he began his career as a financial advisor.
After years in the industry, he still enjoys working with people: “I always say that to do what we do you need to have the mind of a CPA and the heart of a social worker. We have a profound impact on people’s lives. You must have a passion for this job to do it right.” Bob utilizes the resources at Wells Fargo Advisors to provide solutions for households and businesses alike. “Unlike most industrial countries, we do not teach finance to our students throughout their primary education. Many people do not know what to do with their money or how to start.”
He views helping people find the right path as a critical aspect of what he does.
Adhering to the highest ethical standards is primary in both our company mission, and Bob’s Wealth Management philosophy, “People place their trust in us, it is so important that we live up to their expectations.” He prides himself on customer service, living by what he calls the ‘sundown rule’. Anyone who contacts him gets a response by the end of the day. “Don’t ever let the sun go down before you answer their question, if it was important enough for them to pick the phone up it is important enough for us to pick the phone up too.” What’s some fundamental advice that Bob can offer? “I would have to quote Mark Twain: ‘The secret of getting ahead is getting started.’
Married with three children, and eight grandchildren, he is quick to tell you how proud he is of his family. Bob is very active in the community and his church, serving on many volunteer boards and participating in charitable events. “I love my family, and the community in which I live, and I love what I choose to do for a living, and I love working at Wells Fargo. I’m really blessed.”
