PIM Portfolio Management
Michael J. Campoamor holds the Private Investment Management (PIM®) Portfolio Manager designation. As a PIM Portfolio Manager, he is specially trained to manage client investment portfolios with discretion, leveraging the research insights of Wells Fargo Securities and select external research firms to guide decisions. Each portfolio is customized to the client’s unique needs, incorporating a strategic blend of stocks, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, approved mutual funds, and cash alternatives.
To earn the PIM designation, Wells Fargo Advisors’ Portfolio Managers must meet eligibility criteria, including a minimum of two years as a portfolio manager, five years of industry experience, and successful completion of securities exams. They also undergo advanced training that includes an ethics exam, a proxy exam, and a comprehensive 40-hour portfolio management course.
