My passion for investing and this industry started at the age of 18, when my father gave me a gift for high school graduation to start my own IRA. That gift gave me the passion to pursue a career in the financial services industry. With 28 years of industry experience, 23 years of that experience with Wells Fargo Advisors, I am passionate about helping others in meeting their financial goals and objectives. My understanding of the importance of serving others was developed through my experience as an officer in the United States Army, having led soldiers in 2004 for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I have been happily married to my wife Stefanie for 23 years, and the proud father to our two children Gregory & Caitlyn. Our son is a sophomore attending Furman University, and my daughter is a senior in high school, looking forward towards graduation. We enjoy traveling, especially exploring our National Parks out west. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis as a member of Raleigh Racquet Club. As part of my community outreach, I am a board member for the North Carolina Veterans Business Association, supporting our local veteran owned small businesses across the state. Our family attends Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Raleigh.
