Christopher Do

Christopher Do is a Senior Vice President-Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors in San Francisco. His team helps families with portfolio management, tax minimization, and estate planning strategies. Mr. Do has held senior positions with many of the Wall Street bank over his over 30 years in the industry, including Merrill Lynch, UBS and Salomon Brothers. Notably, he personally managed an institutional investment portfolio in excess of 20 billion dollars. His current clients are typically senior level executives that have concentrated stock positions that they would like to diversify out of in a tax efficient manner. He also has expertise in market linked notes which he uses to gain exposure to the equity markets with downside protection when appropriate for the client. Mr. Do graduated with a Management degree and a Finance degree from the Wharton School of Business. He also received a Systems Engineering Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Christopher is very passionate about supporting the Asian community here in the Bay Area. In addition to being Chairman of the Board of APAPA San Francisco, he is also Chairman of the Association for the Advancement of Asians (AAA) which issues report cards for politicians to keep them accountable to the Asian community. His past board experiences include; serving on the Board of National Association of Asian American Professionals-San Francisco (NAAAP-SF), Advisory Board for Junior Achievement-San Francisco, and the Board of Directors of ASCEND San Francisco-Bay Area. While not working 24/7 for his clients and non-profit endeavors, Mr. Do enjoys traveling, collecting rare whiskies, and cooking for friends.
