As a qualified financial advisor, Edward J. Curley, Managing Director – Branch Manager, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) professional and MBA, has demonstrated skills in analyzing and developing personal long-term financial strategies.
As a CFP® professional, Edward has completed hundreds of hours of rigorous financial planning courses learning advanced techniques in applying financial planning knowledge in an integrated format. These courses are then followed by a 10-hour comprehensive examination administered according to the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards. The exam covers the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance.
As a CFP® practitioner, Edward abides by a strict code of professional conduct, know as the CFP® Board’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct which sets forth the ethical standards for CFP® professionals.
Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards, Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and federally registered CFP®, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
