My Process
Dane Morse’s process starts by helping you define your financial goals. These could range from saving for retirement, annual family trips, buying an RV, or purchasing your dream home. This direction allows Dane to craft individualized plans which quantify if you are on track to meet these goals. Importantly, it also focuses on the parts of your plan that you have control over, including how much you save, how you invest, and how much you spend. By focusing on the aspects you have control over and educating you on the impacts of your decisions, it is Dane’s intent to cooperatively navigate through your goals with confidence.
My Background and Focus
Dane grew up in Johnstown, PA, graduating from Westmont Hilltop High School. He stayed local and went to the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown where he earned a dual degree in Business Finance and Actuarial Mathematics. In 2017, he became a member of Wells Fargo Advisors. While employed, he has earned the title of Financial Consultant and has attained his insurance license.
During his career he’s had the opportunity to meet a myriad of individuals along their financial journeys, from teenagers opening their first investment accounts to high earners transitioning into retirement. This range of experience has given him expertise in the following areas:
- Teaching financial literacy
- Planning for and through retirement
- Reviewing and consulting on existing estate planning strategies
- Retirement and pension plan analysis
- Social Security and health care strategies
- Investment plan development
My Family Time
Since starting at Wells Fargo Advisors, Dane has gotten married, bought a home locally, and now has two beautiful daughters. His family stays very busy visiting the Pittsburgh Zoo, riding bikes on the Ghost Town Trail, swimming at the Quemahoning lake, competing in a family trivia night in Somerset, playing board games, and a myriad of other activities. When he gets a moment of rest, you’ll usually find him with a fantasy novel in hand.
