Janice joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2017 as a Client Associate. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Janice was in the Banking industry for 13 years. She is a graduate of SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome. In her free time Janice enjoys spending time with her husband Darik and daughter Emma.

Background and experience

Gene’s 38 years in the financial services industry has allowed him to create and maintain deep relationships with clients, bringing order and discipline to planning and portfolio management. Clients’ best interests are at the forefront as he leads them through a thoughtful discovery process designed to assist clients with creating, prioritizing and achieving life goals.

Gene’s career started in 1983, joining his wife, Mary Ellen, as a financial advisor with a regional firm, and, through a series of mergers and acquisitions, became part of the Wells Fargo Advisors family. For the last 25 years, Gene was the branch manager of the Utica NY branch of Wells Fargo Advisors, and, instrumental in the success and growth of the branch. Through Gene’s passion and commitment for excellence, he has reached the status of both Platinum Council Manager for 2019 and Platinum Council for 2020 and 2021. The 2019 Platinum Council Manager distinction is held by a select group of Managers at Wells Fargo Advisors and reflects a superior level of professional achievement and a steadfast commitment to achieving business objectives. The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients Prior to joining the financial services industry, Gene earned a BPS in business administration, majoring in accounting and finance.

Away from the office

Gene is a dedicated father, husband, grandfather, and, a lifelong Mohawk Valley resident. He currently chairs the Investment Committee of the Boy Scouts of America, Leatherstocking Council. Gene is passionate about spending time with family, mastering the game of golf, and, occasionally spending time in Florida.

Background and experience

In August of 2011, inspired by his family’s practice, Gene joined his family at Wells Fargo Advisors, and, has the privilege to serve as a financial advisor to families, individuals and institutions. Gene works with clients of various backgrounds, each with unique goals and circumstances. Through our Envision® process, Gene engages with each client to develop an investment plan that offers clarity and flexibility.

Gene is a certified Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Manager, this select group of advisors are qualified to manage client portfolios on a discretionary basis, and, for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, recognized as a Platinum Council. The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Away from the office

Gene is a lifelong resident of New Hartford, NY, and, continues to reside in New Hartford with his wife, Jennifer, two sons, Eugene III, Enzo, two dogs and a chinchilla. Spending time with family is Gene’s top priority. When not with family, Gene enjoys playing golf, is an active member the Yahnundasis Golf Club, and, when not golfing, can be found perfecting the game of pool. Gene is an avid baseball fan, and, collector of baseball memorabilia. He is also a past body builder and weightlifter, with a collection of trophies from various competitions, and, also a past board member The Stanley Theatre, our local center for the arts.

Mary Ellen entered the financial services industry in 1975, and, through mergers and acquisitions, became part of the Wells Fargo Advisors family. As a member of the D’Amico Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Mary Ellen is a fully registered Financial Consultant, assisting husband, Gene Sr. Financial Advisor, and, son Gene Jr. Financial Advisor, in developing and implementing personal financial strategies designed to help clients achieve their life goals.

Away from the office

Mary Ellen is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and, lifelong resident of the Mohawk Valley in central New York state. Mary Ellen’s favorite pastimes are enjoying time with family and friends, especially hosting family Sunday dinners, volunteering for the local humane society and spending time in Florida.
