Daniel Clarke, CFP
Senior Vice President - Investment Officer
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Dan helps a select group of families and individuals confidently navigate to, through, and beyond retirement in this ever-changing world. He enjoys the personal and professional satisfaction when clients achieve their ultimate goals. This often includes the journey to retirement, confidence with attainment of goals during retirement, or peace of mind by having a strategy to pass on a legacy. Dan works with clients looking for a holistic approach to retirement and estate planning.
As a Certified Financial Planner professional, Dan adheres to a multi-step process which includes a written investment plan for each client so they may better understand and prepare for the financial challenges they may face. His process begins by listening to his clients. He learns about their past experiences, their current situation, as well as, their dreams and aspirations.
With the information shared by his clients, Dan goes to work. He studies and analyzes the information, and is able to model and stress test their goals. He then develops recommended ways to help them achieve their financial objectives.
When the appropriate solutions have been developed, Dan explains his findings and recommendations in plain, simple English, avoiding technical jargon. He then implements these solutions in an independent, objective, unbiased, and cost-effective manner.
Dan continually monitors and evaluates the recommended plans and, with client participation makes adjustments, whenever necessary, as market conditions change, changes occur in tax laws and regulations, or as changes occur in the lives of his clients and their families.
Dan graduated from the University of Delaware and lives in Kensington, Maryland with his wife Julie and his two daughters Sophia and Felicie. Dan has many hobbies which involve fishing and hiking with his family. Dan also plays ice hockey in a local recreational league.
