David Cuellar is a Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo Advisors. He is also a CERTFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ being granted with CFP© marks and upholding it as a recognized standard of excellence. He has been recognized as a Wells Fargo Premier Advisor from 2015-Present, a distinction reserved for the firm's top Financial Advisors as measured by three or more of the following: length of service with the firm, completion of education components, business production and professionalism. David obtained a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University.
He has worked as a Financial Advisor to both individual and institutional investors since 1990.
David is committed to financial education and has devoted time in the classroom teaching thousands of professionals and families. David has been an Adult Education teacher at the College of San Mateo, De Anza College and Cañada College from 1994-Present. The class “Financial Strategies for a Successful Retirement” is a nationally recognized course.
David’s mission is to provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice and portfolio management - delivered with the highest level of personal service and professional integrity. This commitment to service also carries over to his involvement with his local community. David had volunteered with Suicide Prevention Hotlines from 2012-2014. He is also the author of the children’s book Plastic Island - a story to help raise awareness regarding the garbage patches in the ocean.
