Dina Artzt

Financial Advisor

After earning a Master's Degree in Psychology from Columbia University in 1983, I worked at a law firm where I learned all about municipal bonds. Little did I know many years later, I would be helping people with their financial well-being. I was born in Brooklyn and raised by my beloved grandmother. We lived on very little and I had to start working early on to help make ends meet. I put myself through college and graduate school. I started my career as a financial advisor in New York in 1987; six months later, the market crashed. I learned very quickly how easy it is to lose money. While I seek to achieve better than average returns, my primary focus is to help steer my clients safely through bear markets. I make it an absolute priority to review each client's complete portfolio prior to making any recommendations. I take continuing education courses every year to maintain my professional licenses. Many of my clients have been with me for my entire career. On a personal note, I helped lead my community's efforts to save the Bridgepointe Ice Rink in San Mateo. It took over four long years, but in the end, after countless hours, we succeeded and we did this with a very limited legal budget and an enormous amount of time and effort but it was well worth it. I enjoy volunteering for causes which are important to me. My family is very close and we enjoy attending sporting events, especially football and hockey. I exercise regularly and enjoy bicycle riding and Pickleball! Life is short and we need to enjoy every minute of it. I am accepting new clients.
