Scott Elger, Managing Director - Investments, CFP, CPWA, CAP, ChFC

Scott has over 35 years of successfully advising clients on their financial well-being.  As a Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Advisor, Scott has earned designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, a Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, and a Retirement Income Certified Professional®– expertise held by a very small percentage of financial advisors nationally.  Scott has always emphasized the importance of education, as evidenced by his continuing commitment to expanding his own professional capabilities well beyond his professional peers.

Before entering the financial services industry over three decades ago, Scott earned a degree in Business Management from Eureka College.  Now a Managing Director - Investments in the Peoria, IL office of Wells Fargo Advisors, Scott has taken pride in building a Investment Planning practice which provides solutions which put his clients’ goals and needs first and foremost.

Scott is most proud of his family: son Alexander Elger, Financial Advisor, is Scott’s business partner and holds a Masters Degree in Financial Planning.  Son CJ holds a Masters Degree in Data Science and is employed as the head of the Baseball Systems Department for the Seattle Mariners.  Daughter Breanna is in her third year of residency as a Radiologist at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina.  Daughter Olivia O’Bryan, Financial Advisor, has earned both an MBA and a Masters Degree in Finance from Creighton University and works as an advisor on the Elger Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. 

Scott is also actively involved in his community as a past member of the Board of Directors of the Peoria Production Shop (2002-2020), a member of the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors (since 2005), and an ongoing participant in the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run (1986 – present) and the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Motorcycle Ride (2008-present).  In addition to sharing a passion for fitness, Scott and his wife Joyce enjoy traveling to vacation with their four children and their growing families and spoiling Stella, their German Shepard Dog.

Olivia O'Bryan, Financial Advisor

Olivia O’Bryan’s mission is to help clients feel secure in their financial future by taking time to get to know and understand what means the most to them and proactively planning for their unique situation. Working hand in hand with clients, Olivia aims to help them meet their financial needs to matter what stage of life they are in. By providing clarity, confidence, and structure through the services and solutions offered,her love of serving others drives her client experience.

In addition to being a financial advisor, Olivia enjoys being part of the community. Born and raised in Peoria, IL, Olivia uses her collegiate basketball experience to mentor younger players in the area. She is also a proud parishioner of St. Philomena Church in Peoria and, more recently, St. Patrick’s Church in Iowa City. Olivia has also been a participant in the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run three times.

Olivia attended Creighton University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. While juggling the demands of a successful basketball career, Olivia earned a
Master’s Degree in Finance and an MBA. During her athletic career, “Liv” was named to the Big East All Academic Team 5 straight years, 2016-2020.

Away from the office, Olivia enjoys spending time with her husband Collin and daughter Katelyn first and foremost. She also enjoys playing sports, watching sports, and discussing sports as well as just being outdoors.
