With a career that began during one of the most challenging periods in bond market history— the interest rate hikes of 1994— Scott has spent over three decades guiding families and businesses through the complexities of wealth management. From the dot-com boom and bust to the financial crisis and beyond, Scott has remained a steady and trusted advisor, helping clients navigate both prosperous and turbulent markets.

As a Senior Private Investment Management (PIM^®) Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors, Scott specializes in comprehensive portfolio management with a strong emphasis on retirement income planning. His approach is rooted in disciplined asset allocation and a deep understanding of each client’s unique goals. He also provides guidance on education funding, charitable giving strategies, and estate investment planning.

Scott holds an impressive array of FINRA securities registrations, including Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, and 65, along with licenses for life, health, and long-term care insurance and variable annuities. He earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional^® (RICP^®) designation from The American College of Financial Services in 2021.

A graduate of Ohio University, Scott holds a BBA in Finance and International Business with a concentration in Japanese. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Central Piedmont Community College and as a cross-country coach at Marvin Ridge Middle School—demonstrating his commitment to both education and community.  He also just completed six years on the Board of the Wesley Chapel Volunteer Fire Department (WCVFD).

Jay Jacob is a Managing Director – Investments with more than 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with A.G. Edwards and now serves clients through Wells Fargo Advisors, helping individuals and families identify meaningful goals and implement thoughtful wealth plans and investment strategies designed to support long-term objectives. Jay holds an MBA, earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® certification in 2006, and is a graduate of Appalachian State University.

Kristin Arena is a seasoned financial services professional with more than two decades of experience supporting high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients within Wealth Management and Private Banking environments. Born and raised in Connecticut, Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. She also holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.

Kristin began her career at UBS Financial Services in the Private Wealth Management division, working in the Ultra High Net Worth office in Stamford, Connecticut as a Branch Service Associate. She later joined Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC in the Greenwich, Connecticut office, where she initially served as an Operations Analyst before being promoted to Relationship Associate. In this role, she provided personalized service to ultra-high net worth and institutional clients, managing trading, administrative functions, and complex client inquiries while partnering closely with sales, trading, and operations teams.

In 2012, Kristin returned to UBS Financial Services, Inc. in New York City as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate, where she played a key role in supporting advisors and clients through asset transfers, investment implementation, and ongoing portfolio servicing. Her strong attention to detail, operational expertise, and commitment to client service contributed to consistently positive client experiences.

After relocating to North Carolina in 2018, Kristin joined Wells Fargo Advisors in the Charlotte area as a Senior Registered Client Associate. Heidi W. Johnson is a Financial Consultant with nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 1998 and has remained with the same firm through its evolution from Prudential Securities and Wachovia Securities to Wells Fargo Advisors. Heidi is a graduate from Wingate University and maintains multiple professional registrations/licenses and designations, including Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, Life, Health and Annuity licenses, as well as the CRPC^® and CMFC^® credentials.

Heidi is known for building strong, long-term client relationships and delivering thoughtful, collaborative guidance across all phases of life. Her background includes experience in retirement planning, annuities, advisory programs, and regulatory oversight. With a career rooted in operational excellence and client advocacy, she is committed to exceeding client expectations through accountability, clear communication, and trust.

Heidi works with individuals, families, and small business owners, with a particular focus on legacy planning and supporting the next generation. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She lives in Waxhaw, North Carolina with her husband, Chris, and values being part of a close-knit, engaged community.

Olivia DeBoer is a Client Associate based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she works closely with Financial Advisor, Scott M. Bowman, and Financial Consultant, Kristin Arena, to support clients with their individual financial needs. She is actively working toward completing her professional registrations to continue her development within the financial services industry.

Olivia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with a minor in Communications, from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. Prior to joining the team, she spent three and a half years with Fifth Third Bank in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she progressed from part‑time Teller to Lead Teller and ultimately to Personal Banker. In this role, she built a strong foundation in client service and relationship management while supporting clients across a wide range of retail banking needs. She regularly worked with both new and existing clients to understand their financial goals, educate them on available banking solutions, and recommend options tailored to each client’s individual needs.

In her current role, Olivia brings a client‑first mindset and strong attention to detail to every interaction. She takes pride in helping to ensure clients feel supported, heard, and confident that their needs are being addressed. She values teamwork and enjoys collaborating with advisors and colleagues to deliver consistent service and positive client experiences. Olivia recently relocated to Charlotte and is grateful to call it home. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and participating in recreational sports leagues, including soccer, pickleball, and volleyball, and welcomes any opportunity to spend time outdoors.

Carron Flinter is a Client Associate who first entered the financial services industry 30 years ago. She began her career in Investment Banking, with roles in New York and London. After returning to the United States, Carron transitioned to Private Wealth Management, where she gained experience working with high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and charitable foundations. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.

Carron is deeply committed to building strong client relationships and taking the time to understand each client’s family and community priorities. She provides thoughtful, personalized support and enjoys seeing clients develop financial strategies aligned with their long‑term goals for their loved ones’ security and success.

Outside of work, Carron enjoys tennis and pickleball and is currently learning to play golf. She is actively involved in community volunteer efforts supporting literacy for at‑risk children. Originally from New York City, Carron has lived in Charlotte since 2007 and is the proud parent of two Duke Blue Devils.
