(904) 560-5134I started my career in 1992 at Merrill Lynch, fresh out of the University of Florida and eager to figure out how the world of finance actually worked. What surprised me early on was how much of this job had nothing to do with markets or products. It was about people; their goals, their families, their worries, and the decisions that shape their future. That realization is what kept me in the industry, and what still motivates me today.
Over the years, I’ve seen that the most meaningful financial progress doesn’t come from quick decisions or chasing what’s “hot.” It comes from taking the time to understand a client’s full financial picture and helping to build a thoughtful plan before talking about solutions. When I joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2019, that approach became the foundation of our practice. We lead with planning because it gives every other decision purpose and direction.
We work with high‑net‑worth individuals and families who want a relationship they can rely on — someone who will help manage the complexity of their finances not just for today, but for the generations that follow. Many of the families we work with think in terms of legacy and long‑term stewardship, and our role is to help provide clarity, structure, and a steady hand as they navigate those decisions.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time running, coaching, and staying involved in the local athletic community. I’m a member of the Jacksonville Track Club, I work with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Anthony J. Stinson, Jr. Association for Change, and I help coach and host high school cross‑country meets. Those environments keep me connected to the community and remind me why consistency and long‑term focus matter - themes that show up in both athletics and wealth planning.
I am proud of my five children - one college graduate, two currently in college, and two still at home; so, between work, family, and coaching, life stays busy in the best way. After over 30 years in this profession, what keeps it interesting is simple: every family has a different story, a different set of priorities, and a different path ahead. Helping them shape that path is still work I enjoy showing up for every day.

(904) 664-6647Born and raised in Jacksonville, I headed off to college after graduating from Episcopal High School of Jacksonville, beginning at Vanderbilt University before transferring to the University of North Florida—an early lesson in weighing cost, value, and long‑term outcomes.
I earned my degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and went on to spend several years working in neurological medical research and in the pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson. Those experiences shaped my analytical approach and fostered the disciplined, scientific way of thinking that still influences how I evaluate complex decisions today.
Now with over 20 years in the financial industry, I’m a second‑generation advisor and spent the first fifteen of those years working alongside and learning from my father at Merrill Lynch before continuing the practice at Wells Fargo Advisors. A few years ago, my son, Ross, joined our team as a Financial Advisor, marking the start of our third-generation practice. Many of the families we serve now span multiple generations as well; one of the great privileges of this work is advising a family that’s now in its fifth generation with us. That kind continuity helps shape the way we approach every relationship—with care, perspective, and a deep respect for the trust clients place in us.
Our approach begins with getting to know clients deeply—their families, values, priorities, and the way they make decisions. Only then do we build an individualized wealth plan that guides both portfolio management and the broader financial choices that unfold over time. The plan is dynamic, adjusting as life and markets change. Many clients choose to work with us in a fiduciary relationship through a fee‑based advisory platform that aligns our compensation with their progress and supports a transparent, long‑view relationship.
Our family has always valued staying engaged in the community, including my past service as president of BRASS, a support group for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and our experience hosting children from Afghanistan for medical care through Solace for the Children—something that remains one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives. My wife, Heather, is a home‑education consultant, and over the years has turned our home in San Marco into a private, living-books library, while our garage has evolved into my hyper‑organized woodworking shop.
When I’m not thinking about finances, you’ll usually find me traveling, reading (likely geopolitics or historical fiction), on an outdoor adventure, at a live music concert, or—according to my family—finding new ways to over‑engineer a simple Excel spreadsheet. All of these pieces of our life remind me daily why thoughtful planning matters so much: it helps people stay focused on what they value most.

(904) 320-2375I’m a lifelong Jacksonville resident and a third‑generation Financial Advisor, following the path set by my father and grandfather. Growing up watching both of them help guide families through important financial decisions shaped the way I approach my work today—with clarity, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping people move forward with confidence.
I graduated magna cum laude from Jacksonville University with a degree in Finance, where I also served as captain of the Shotgun Sports Team. I earned the rank of Eagle Scout at 13, and in 2020 I received the Carnegie Hero Award after helping save a child from drowning in Neptune Beach.
My strengths center on wealth plan modeling, Social Security optimization, investment management, and especially budgeting and cash‑flow analysis. I spend significant time helping clients understand their spending, evaluate patterns, and build structured systems that support long‑term goals. I’m also passionate about integrating new technology and AI tools into our practice to improve modeling, enhance reporting, and create a clearer, more efficient planning experience for clients.
As part of The Fannin Johnson Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, I collaborate closely with Bill Johnson, Senior Vice President – Investment Officer and Senior PIM Portfolio Manager, and Richard Fannin, Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director – Investments. Together, we combine our strengths to offer clients multidimensional insight and a high level of support. Outside of work, I stay involved with the Jacksonville University community and enjoy hunting, fishing, and competing in sporting clays. I live in Jacksonville with my fiancée, Sarah.
