In 2018, Gates joined Wells Fargo as a Financial Advisor in his hometown Mountain Brook, AL where his family has resided for four generations.  Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Gates worked as an Institutional Broker at Duncan Williams for 8 years.  He’s a graduate of The University of Alabama with a B.S. in International Finance and he holds FINRA Series 7, 63, & 66 registrations.

Gates is a member of Birmingham Country Club, Canterbury Methodist Church, and the Birmingham Chapter Vice-Chair for McCallie School for Boys. When he’s not advising clients, Gates enjoys, playing golf, crafting pottery, and cherishing time with his wife and newborn son. 

Brandon began his career in the investment industry with Stephens Inc. in 2015 and has broadened his experience by working for companies such as Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase.  Now, with Wells Fargo, he is focused on the client experience and operational efficiencies.  In 2019, he received Wells Fargo Advisor’s highest recognition, the Wells Fargo Advisors Golden Spoke. The Golden Spoke award is given to team members for their service and commitment to the vision, values & goals of the Firm. In 2024, he was chosen to serve a 2-year term as a CA Advisory Council member.  Brandon is a graduate of The University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a B.A. in Finance and Economics.  He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, & 65 registrations.

Brandon lives in Springville, AL with his wife of 9 years, Jaimie, and 4 children: Lane, Liam, Barrett, and Madelyn.  He loves being of service to his family, running, golf, and coaching youth baseball.
