John joined Wells Fargo Advisors as Managing Director- Investment Officer in March of 2022 after working at UBS, Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. He began his career in wealth management in 2006 after 10+ years trading futures, options and bonds at the CME, CBOT and CBOT. While with Breakwater Trading from 2002-2006, he was responsible for managing an institutional bond portfolio. His trading experience lends to his understanding of capital markets.
His approach to wealth management is to provide risk adjusted portfolio construction, accurate planning, open communication and reliable service. His belief is to treat his client assets like his own- with utmost care.
He currently lives in Wilmette, IL with his wife, two daughters and two dogs. He enjoys running, fishing, boating and all outdoor activities.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA in 1994.
Joe Kelly
Senior Vice President - Investment Officer
Joe is a Senior Vice President - Investment Officer with Wells Fargo Advisors in Chicago, IL. He specializes in multi-generational wealth management for UHNW families, entrepreneurs, business owners, professional athletes, and endowments and foundations.
Joe has been a senior capital markets executive and derivatives trader for over 30 years. He has held senior positions at major international banks in addition to being an owner and senior partner in various proprietary trading groups. Joe has lived in Tokyo, Japan for 5 years and Hong Kong for 2 years, and now resides in Chicago.
Joe and John Glynn started the Glynn Kelly Investment Group in 2017 at UBS and subsequently joined Wells Fargo Advisors in March of 2022. Joe and John have known each since 2001 and worked together in proprietary trading roles specializing in fixed income yield curve arbitrage.
Outside of work Joe enjoys spending time with family, hunting and fishing, and is working to lower his golf scores. He is an active member of Saint Clement Catholic Church and serves on the Board of Advisors of Catholic Charities of Chicago.
Emma T. Knorps
Vice President
Emma joined the Glynn Kelly Investment Group with Wells Fargo Advisors in April 2022. She previously worked at UBS Financial Services as the digital specialist for the Chicago Market, working with financial advisors and their teams to digitize and streamline their practice. She next held the position of administrative manager for the UBS Tower in downtown Chicago, acting as direct line manager for 75 investment and client associates. Emma holds her Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 registrations.
Emma is originally from Winnetka, Illinois, and attended the University of Michigan, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with accompanying coursework from the Ross School of Business. Emma was also a coxswain on the Division I women’s rowing team at Michigan and was heavily involved in the athletic department and their volunteer work around the Ann Arbor area. Emma currently lives in Highland Park, Illinois with her husband, Alex, and their baby, Poppy.
Will Stiles
Client Associate
Will started with Wells Fargo Advisors in March 2022 as a Brokerage Assistant at a branch in Dublin, Ohio. During his time in Ohio he worked in a Branch Liaison-type role, where his main role was to ensure his office was compliant to FINRA standards. He was also able to work with advisors in reviewing client accounts. Will joined the Glynn Kelly Investment Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in September 2022 as a Client Associate. Will holds registrations for the Series 7 and 66.
In December 2021 Will received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Specialization in Economics from Ohio State University. In his specialization, Will studied the field of economic history, focusing on demography and labor. He is interested in how economic conditions can predict the long-run success of a society. In his free time Will enjoys watching soccer and trying to make his friends laugh.
