ExperienceWith over 32 years in wealth management, Ben Goldberg has built a distinguished career specializing in discretionary portfolio management and estate planning strategies. His approach is rooted in long-term strategy, risk-conscious investing, and a deep understanding of client needs—developed through decades of hands-on experience in guiding individuals and families toward their financial goals.
In addition to his professional expertise, Ben has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service. He served as a City of Long Beach Commissioner for more than 20 years, holding key leadership roles including:

Marine Advisory Commissioner (2008–2010)

During his tenure, Ben oversaw and helped manage budgets for the City’s Tidelands Fund and Parks, Recreation & Marine Department. He played a pivotal role in shaping the fee and fine structure for the largest publicly owned marina in the U.S., as well as one of the nation’s largest municipal parks departments.
Ben’s leadership extends beyond Long Beach. He served on the Huntington Beach Technology and Infrastructure Committee (2022–2023) and currently serves as President of the Broadmoor Huntington Harbour Homeowners Association (2021–Present), where he continues to advocate for thoughtful, community-focused development.

Personal InterestsBen’s lifelong dedication to community began in Long Beach, where he was born, raised, and spent decades building a life with his wife, Barbara, and their two children. Over the years, he became a familiar face in civic life—serving on local commissions, leading neighborhood initiatives, and championing causes that strengthened the fabric of the city. Whether it was advocating for smart urban planning, supporting youth programs, or helping shape policy through public service, Ben’s impact in Long Beach was both meaningful and lasting.
Though he always cherished summers in Sunset Beach, it wasn’t until 2020 that he made the move permanent. Now a full-time resident, Ben has brought his passion for civic engagement to the Sunset Beach and Huntington Beach communities. He’s focused on preserving the unique coastal character of the area while encouraging thoughtful, resident-focused progress.
