Raymond C. Gonzalez began his financial services career in 1997 after graduating Cum Laude from Occidental College where he
earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology. He subsequently earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)
designation, one of the nation’s premier retirement planning credentials, providing him with an extensive knowledgebase from
which to help clients navigate their retirement planning options.
Ray, the oldest of nine siblings, grew up in Winnemucca, Nevada and now resides in Reno. Ray has three kids. His oldest son,
Nick is following Dad in a career in finance. His middle child, Emma graduates from UNR this year and has chosen to pursue a
career in marketing. His youngest, Zach is a freshman enrolled at UNLV. When Ray is not in the office, he can be found enjoyi ng
the outdoors and all that his home state has to offer.
As a family man and an active member of his community, Ray believes in the importance of giving back. He is currently serving
as the president of the Nevada Humane Society and sits as a board member on Community Health Alliance, Truckee Meadows
Tomorrow, Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center and the Barracuda Foundation. In the past he has been involved with The Community
Foundation of Northern Nevada , Reno Rotary, American Heart Association, Executive Association of Reno (EAR); and
Summit VMS, an organization that touches on an area of focus for Ray as mentors of local tech start-ups. Ray has also served on
the board of several other organizations in the Reno area including the Education Alliance of Washoe County, the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, and as the President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Ray and his team specialize in portfolio management and retirement plans such as 401(k), Profit Sharing, SEP, SIMPLE, Traditional,
and Roth IRAs. Through Wells Fargo affiliates they have access to over 90 lines of business for their clients including
lending services. Ray’s primary focus is managing, protecting, and transitioning wealth to ensure each of his client’s portfolios
match their risk-tolerance and objectives to achieve financial success.
