Gregory Metz

Greg Metz is an accomplished financial services leader with 27 years of industry experience and currently serves as Executive Director – Complex Director for Wells Fargo Advisors in San Antonio, Texas. He is responsible for leading the firm's branches across San Antonio, Victoria, McAllen, and Harlingen, providing strategic leadership and support to financial advisors serving clients throughout South Texas.

Greg began his career in 1999 as a Financial Advisor with PaineWebber. In 2004, he joined Morgan Stanley and quickly transitioned into leadership, serving as an Assistant Branch Manager before being selected as Complex Sales Manager for Central and South Texas. Throughout his career, Greg has built a reputation for developing advisor talent, driving business growth, and fostering a culture centered on client service and professional excellence.

In 2015, Greg joined UBS as Director and Branch Manager of the Beaumont, Texas office. He was promoted in 2018 to lead the Downtown Houston Branch, one of UBS's largest offices in the Houston market. That same year, he was inducted into the UBS Managers Leadership Council, an honor reserved for the firm's top managers nationwide.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance from Angelo State University and has completed Phase I of the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) accreditation program.

A native of San Antonio, Greg grew up in a military family and spent much of his childhood living in various locations across the United States. These experiences helped shape his adaptable leadership style and appreciation for diverse perspectives. He and his wife, Sade, are proud parents of two daughters, Josslyn and Capri. Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to the communities he serves throughout Texas.
