Guy C. Rizzo

On January 19th 2007, Mr. Rizzo formed Rizzo Financial Services, LLC (later changed to Rizzo Financial Group LLC)associated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. He currently manages over 160 million dollars in client assets as of June 2024. Prior to establishing his own investment firm, Mr. Rizzo was employed at Smith Barney for more than 13 years where he attained the title of First Vice President. Prior to joining Smith Barney he maintained a law practice concentrating in the areas of estate planning and probate. During his years at Smith Barney he worked in a partnership with his father, Guido G. Rizzo, until the senior Mr. Rizzo's retirement. Mr. Rizzo also taught as an adjunct professor at Salve Regina University, teaching courses in both personal finance and investments.
Mr. Rizzo earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island and was awarded an academic scholarship from Northeastern University where he completed the requirements for a master's degree. He holds a law degree from the New England School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, he passed the Rhode Island Bar Exam, though he is currently not practicing law. He continued his education in the evening at Boston University School of Law, Graduate Tax Program where his advanced study included estate planning and taxation. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and has served on the Committee on Probate and Trust and Committee on Liaison with Accountants.
Mr. Rizzo holds his series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations. He is also securities licensed in the following states: RI, MA, CT, ME, AK, AZ, CA, CO,DC, FL, IL,KY, MD, MO, NV, NY,NJ, VA ,NM, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, VT,VA, WA. He is also insurance licensed in the following states: CT, DC, FL, IL, MA, , NY, RI, and VA
He has been a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association for more than 34 years.
Mr. Rizzo is the proud father of triplets, Guy, Nick and Trish with whom he spends much of his time when he is not in the office.
