While investment planning drives our practice, proper investment management is critical to the success of our plans. When a proper asset allocation is determined, we utilize Wells Fargo Global Manager Research Team (GMR)*, to identify third-party managers, who have met their vigorous standards for approval to reside on our platform.

We will typically blend several approved managers to properly diversify client portfolios. We have found this approach is most appealing, as there is complete transparency – clients know exactly what they own, what the fees are, and perhaps most importantly, what gains or losses have been realized for tax planning. We are highly sensitive to taxes and attempt to mitigate its impact on the plan – having constant visibility allows for that.

Wells Fargo Global Manager Research (GMR) performs ongoing due diligence on each of the approved managers and keeps us informed of any material changes to their process, people, procedures, or performance. Once a slate of managers is hired, constant monitoring provides confidence that each of the managers continue to stay within the respective investment discipline for which they are hired.
