I see my role as a Financial Advisor as more than an investment professional – I try to look out for my clients in other aspects of their lives. By taking a holistic approach and trying to uncover needs beyond just investing, I strive to provide valuable advice that is both helpful and comprehensive.
As a second generation financial advisor, I grew up in St. Louis and first worked in public accounting and for major corporations including Kraft and Wrangler Jeans until the travel demands became too much. My father suggested his profession. Though investing was familiar to me, I didn’t have the benefit of a training program so I taught myself by spending time with seasoned pros who worked in a variety of specialties from bonds to annuities. The result is that my clients benefit from the range of knowledge and experience I’ve gained since 1987.
I really enjoy helping people solve problems and accomplish their goals. My ability to serve them is enhanced by the additional work I have done to earn my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designations. I am also a Senior PIM® Portfolio Manager which allows me access to a customized portfolio management program geared toward your specific investment goals.
Over the course of my career, I have been honored to receive multiple accolades from the likes of Forbes and Wells Fargo Advisors. In both 2019 and 2020, Forbes named me to its Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list.* For 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 Wells Fargo Advisors has also listed me among its Platinum Council**. The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.
I have three children, one of whom now works with me as a Financial Advisor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and serving on the board of United Way-West St. Louis. I’m also involved with Arch Grants, a start-up competition.
