Rich Jarman is a financial advisor dedicated to helping each client set and achieve their own unique financial goals. To accomplish this, he partners with clients to create relationships built on mutual trust using disciplined, responsible, personalized and unbiased investment planning. Rich helps clients plan and prepare for the future and preserve, accumulate and transfer wealth. He is currently the Managing Director-Investments and a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager of the Jarman Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
After graduating (cum laude) from North Carolina State University with a bachelor's degree, Rich worked in the textile industry before beginning his career as a Financial Advisor in 1999. He draws on life experiences taught by his mother, a Certified Public Accountant, and his father, Richard Jarman, a Financial Advisor serving clients since 1965. Rich is among the firm's select Financial Advisors entrusted to manage client portfolios with discretion through the Private Investment Management program, and he has also completed the Queens University CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ program and obtained his CFP® certification.
While he is away from the office, Rich is active in his community. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Belmont, NC, and serves on the Finance Committee and as a Deacon, formerly served on the Executive Board for the Boy Scouts of America - Piedmont Council and Board of Trustees for the Children's Home Society of NC. Rich served five years as a Board Member for Hospice of Gaston County. In his spare time, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including spending time with his wife and children.
