Background and experience

Lisa is a Financial Consultant focused on creating individualized investment plans based on her clients’ risk tolerance, time horizon and investment goals. Lisa also oversees 401(k) Retirement Plans for small businesses. In 2011, Lisa began working alongside her brother and Managing Director - Investment Officer, Jeff Layman, who has over 30 years‘ experience helping clients achieve their financial goals while managing an array of portfolios on a discretionary basis. 

The Jeff Layman Group of Wells Fargo Advisors is a wealth management team that offers a wide range of portfolios across the investment spectrum. They combine a defined investment management process with financial, retirement and estate planning strategies, insurance and annuities, cash management, trust services, 401(k) plans, wealth transfer strategies and access to lending products and services through Wells Fargo affiliates to provide comprehensive wealth management strategies. The Jeff Layman Group has associates in Springfield and Kansas City, Missouri and serves individuals, businesses and institutions in 34 states.

Away from the office

Lisa and her husband, Craig, live in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  They have three children combined, Adrian, Adam, and Cooper along with five grandchildren. 

Lisa is active in her church and currently co-leads a Leaders Made group empowering servant leaders.  Lisa and Craig also host a small group in their home.  Away from work, Lisa enjoys playing cards, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
