Jeff Tryon is a Managing Director – Investment Officer and Senior PIM Portfolio Manager with the Tryon | Strother Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Together with Stefanie Strother, Financial Advisor; Emily Golenzer, Senior Registered Client Associate; and Alex Long, Registered Client Associate, they provide investment management and planning services to high-net worth clients.

Each client relationship is managed on a case-by-case basis. The cornerstone of the team is helping foundations, business owners, professionals, & their families build, manage, preserve, & transfer their wealth.

We are PIM Portfolio Managers utilizing open-architecture, financial-advisor managed strategies customized to client's goals and plans. Investment decisions are backed by data and unbiased, quantitative, third-party research. Our strategies are free from conflicts of interest and biases.

Jeff has a master's degree in finance and degrees in biochemistry & economics from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business and Bucknell University, respectively. Jeff spent a decade traveling the country in financial consulting & corporate finance for Fortune 100 companies to family-owned businesses in industries including healthcare, telecommunications, technology, oil & gas, natural resources, & automotive.

Jeff spends time racing cyclocross, learning golf, reading, traveling, and watching Formula One.

Stefanie is a Financial Advisor who works together with Jeff Tryon, Managing Director – Investment Officer; Emily Golenzer, Senior Registered Client Associate; and Alex Long, Registered Client Associate, with the Tryon | Strother Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in Greenwood Village, Colorado.  She strives to provide excellent investment management and planning to clients including high net worth families, business owners, corporate executives, foundations, and accomplished professionals.  Stefanie has over 15 years of experience in the investment management industry and chose this profession to drive a measurable impact on the financial health and security of clients and their families.

Together with the team, Stefanie combines decades of experience and talent to build, manage, preserve, and transition wealth.  Using planning as the cornerstone of the practice, she and her colleagues develop, execute, and maintain tailored investment strategies to support a client’s standard of living and meet their goals.

Outside of work, Stefanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and son, AJ.

Community outreach and volunteering on a personal level and within Wells Fargo Advisors play a significant role in Stefanie’s life.

Within Wells Fargo Advisors, Stefanie volunteers for Project CURE and Habitat for Humanity.

On her own, Stefanie dedicates time to Harmony Equine Rescue Center and Daughters of the America Revolution (DAR).  Through her membership with DAR, Stefanie is able to support various many initiatives for local veterans, youth, education, and the preservation of areas with historical significance.

Emily Golenzer, Senior Registered Client Associate, supports Jeff Tryon and Stefanie Strother of Wells Fargo Advisors. She started at Wells Fargo Advisors after obtaining her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder where she majored in economics with an international emphasis and minored in business and French. Emily joined the investment management industry in the footsteps of her family with a desire to create, implement, and support holistic financial plans to help clients achieve their goals and live their best lives.

When she’s not working, Emily enjoys gardening, skiing, solving puzzles, and spending time with her dog, Gobby, and her husband, Matt.
