For nearly two-decades, Joanna has helped clients address their financial concerns. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in markets, Joanna has dedicated her career to delivering the personalized investment planning services her clients deserve.  

Background and Experience

Early in her career Joanna worked for an International Finance company, as a Foreign Currency trader, while she liked the excitement of the trades and transactions, she quickly realized she wanted to work with people in her community with whom she could have direct long term multi-generational relationships.  Joanna enjoys taking the time to really get to know her clients, their families and their long-term goals.  She works to be a partner with them while serving as their trusted advisor.

Joanna began her career as a Financial Advisor with Riggs National Bank, Washington, DC, where she developed her fundamental investment knowledge.  In early 2000s, Joanna joined Key Private Bank Trust and Investment group while serving high-net worth clients until she joined Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2008.

My civic and community life

Joanna is committed to serving her clients and her community. Joanna’s commitment to philanthropy over two decades in the Syracuse area, comes from a deep passion for making a positive change in her community.  Joanna serves on the boards of local not for profit organizations including The Auxiliary of St. Joseph Hospital Health, The Elmcrest Children’s Center, Kiwanis International of Baldwinsville, and the Junior League of Central New York.  

Education and credentials.

Joanna holds a BA from Allegheny College, where she studied abroad for a year in Paris, France. She completed graduate studies with an MA from Bowling Green University.

In 2010, Joanna earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation, by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements. Joanna's passion for learning doesn't end there.

Her professional affiliations include both the Financial Planning Association, and the American College of Financial Planning.

Away from the office

Joanna loves all that the region has to offer. Joanna and her husband Joe, a business owner, enjoy summers boating on Lake Ontario and winters skiing.
