Qualifications of a CFP® Professional

To earn the CFP® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., we have met rigorous education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements.
In order to take a more comprehensive approach to meeting our clients’ financial needs, we have completed training on nearly 100 integrated financial topics, including insurance planning, risk management, employee benefits planning, retirement planning, and estate planning strategies.
In order to fulfill the CFP® certification, we have shown that we have sufficient work experience in at least one of the six key areas of financial services.
Our CFP® professionals have passed the CFP® Certification Examination, which is scheduled to take 10 hours to complete and test each candidate’s knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis of financial topics specified by the CFP Board.
We are required to adhere to the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility. We must also acknowledge the CFP Board’s right to enforce this code of ethics and practice standards.
