Jacob Johnson

Financial Advisor

As a Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director of Investments, Jacob takes pride in being his clients’ first call when making important financial decisions. He provides a personalized and comprehensive planning approach designed to help clients pursue their long‑term goals, and he proactively reviews and updates their plans as life circumstances change. Jacob is committed to educating clients and providing trusted guidance across asset allocation, retirement income planning, estate investment planning strategies, and risk management.

Jacob’s practice is built on trust, thoughtful planning, and lifelong relationships.

Before entering the financial services industry, Jacob graduated from Simpson College with degrees in International Management and Spanish and a minor in Economics. His career at Wells Fargo includes roles as a Private Banker in Urbandale and Ankeny, a District Manager in Des Moines, and a Private Banking Manager for Iowa and Illinois. Now serving as a Senior Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors in Ankeny, Jacob continues to take pride in working for a firm that puts clients first.

Jacob’s mission is to help each client plan for a financial future aligned with their goals, and his dedication extends beyond his practice. He has been actively involved with his local church, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Central Iowa, The Principal Charity Classic, The Sean Nielsen Foundation, and Hands On Banking® education in local schools.

Outside the office, Jacob enjoys traveling, golfing, coaching his children’s sports, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with family and friends. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Huxley, Iowa, with their three daughters—Kaylor, Khloe, and Klaire.

Christin Aldridge

Financial Advisor

Christin Aldridge is a Financial Advisor dedicated to helping clients take a thoughtful, proactive approach to providing investment and wealth advice. She begins each relationship by understanding the client’s personal and financial circumstances, then collaborates with them to create a customized written plan designed to support their long‑term life goals. Known for her organized, attentive approach, Christin is genuinely committed to helping clients achieve lasting success.

Growing up in a small community shaped Christin’s commitment to providing dependable guidance and building lasting client relationships. Her clients also benefit from access to a wide range of Wells Fargo affiliate resources, including Premier Banking, Wealth Planning, Lending, and Insurance. The Johnson & Aldridge Group of Wells Fargo Advisors has been recognized in Forbes as a Best-in-State Wealth Management Team in 2026.

Christin joined Wells Fargo & Company in 2003 and has served in a variety of leadership roles at Wells Fargo Bank, including Teller, Banker, Branch Manager, RB District Manager, and Affluent Segment Leader across Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, and Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Simpson College, where she was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Christin and her husband, Casey, live in Indianola, Iowa. They have 5 children; Cael, Bryce, Carson, Grady, and Kendall. Outside of work, Christin enjoys supporting her kids’ activities and spending time with family and friends. She has served on several local nonprofit boards and remains passionate about giving back to the communities where she lives and works.

At the heart of Christin’s work is a simple motivation: helping people feel confident about their financial future so they can live the lives they envision with clarity and confidence.

Megan Martelli

Client Associate

As a Client Assistant, Megan Martelli is committed to delivering exceptional client service while providing comprehensive administrative support to the team. She manages a wide range of responsibilities and requests, including operational and account management, appointment and schedule coordination for new and existing clients, and administrative support, all while fostering strong client relationships.

Megan began her career in financial services in 2017 with Wells Fargo Bank in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, where she served as a Teller and Personal Banker, assisting clients with their day-to-day banking needs and providing personalized financial solutions. She later advanced to Service Manager in Ankeny, Iowa, where she oversaw teller line operations, managed branch performance, and help ensure compliance with operational standards. In these roles, Megan developed strong expertise in client service, operational efficiency, and team leadership, laying the foundation for her continued success in the financial industry.

Megan enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She loves cooking, baking, and tackling home projects. Life is always lively with her four dogs—Doug, Jimmy, Hobi, and Jack—who keep her active and entertained. She lives in the small town of Lovilia, IA, with her boyfriend, Bryon, where she participates in a monthly book club and supports local businesses. Originally born and raised in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Megan spent 27 years there before moving to Lovilia.

Kathy Johnson

Client Associate

Kathy Johnson serves as a Client Associate, providing essential operational and administrative support to the team’s advisors to help ensure a seamless and efficient client experience. She is deeply committed to supporting the team and contributing to the high level of service clients deserve.

Kathy graduated from Simpson College with studies in international management and Spanish and later earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Drake University. She began her career at Wells Fargo as a personal banker and later as a service manager. After taking ten years away from the financial industry to teach high school, Kathy returned to Wells Fargo to join the Johnson & Aldridge Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, bringing strong communication and organizational expertise from her teaching career.

Kathy lives in Huxley with her husband, Jacob, and their three children. When she’s not supporting her girls in an auditorium or gymnasium, she is active in her church and volunteers regularly in the local schools and community.

Hunter VanderWaal

Financial Consultant

Hunter Vanderwaal is a Financial Consultant who takes pride in collaborating with a dedicated team to help clients achieve their financial goals. His role encompasses developing comprehensive wealth plans, addressing complex challenges, and fostering meaningful, long‑term relationships built on honesty, reliability, and trust.

Hunter holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, along with life and health insurance licenses. Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, he gained valuable experience at Lincoln Financial and Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa.

Outside the office, Hunter enjoys spending time outdoors with his bird dogs, Harper and Remi, and is passionate about hunting, fishing, and golf. He is also deeply involved in the sport of wrestling, serving as a volunteer on the Indianola High School wrestling staff. Additionally, Hunter actively supports youth wrestling through AAU events.

Hunter resides in Indianola, Iowa, with his fiancée, Kennedy. A proud graduate of Simpson College, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and graduated magna cum laude.
