Our Team

For more than 32 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a financial advisor to individuals, families and institutions. In 1993, I began my career with A.G. Edwards, a Wells Fargo Advisors predecessor firm, where I developed my investment knowledge and philosophy. In 2005, I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and in March 2019 I became the Branch Manager of the Pawleys Island office.

Making sure your wealth continues to work in support of the goals you have established takes careful planning. I take a comprehensive approach to investment planning and examine every element of the client’s financial life including debt management, cash reserves, insurance, estate investment planning and tax implications. Such planning is not a single event – it is a process. As your life circumstances change, so must the investment strategies I use to stay on course toward meeting your objectives. That is why I work with you, one-on-one, to design investment strategies targeted to your specific needs and goals.



After graduating from Clemson University, where I was a member of the tennis team, I returned to my hometown of Pawleys Island where I met my wife, Helen. We have enjoyed being an active part of our community and our church. One way I have done that is being a member of the Board of Trustees of Tidelands Health where I serve on numerous subcommittees within the health system. We enjoy spending time with our four adult children and other family members and friends. Recreationally, I enjoy a going to the beach with my family, paddle boarding, photography, reading and playing golf.

Kemilou Pomplun, First Vice President – Investments, has over 44 years of investment experience as a Financial Advisor. Since she began her career with Bache & Co. in 1980, Kemilou has dedicated herself to helping individuals, families and small businesses with everything from retirement and college planning, to wealth preservation and charitable giving. When not helping clients, she enjoys playing golf.

I am a registered client associate who has been with Wells Fargo Advisors for about 5 years. I enjoy building relationships with clients and watching their financial confidence grow.

While originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I found that the beach was calling my name and have now lived in the Carolinas for over 15 years. I graduated from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

I enjoy travelling, spending time with my dog, and volunteering in the community. My husband and I are expecting our first child in December.
