J.P. Cullen is a Senior Vice President–Investments and Financial Advisor who holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
® certification, the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) designation, and the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation. Since 1991, he has helped successful individuals, business owners, and multigenerational families make clear, tax-aware decisions about their wealth so they can invest confidently, preserve what they’ve built, and pass it on intentionally.

J.P. began his career at Dean Witter as an Account Executive, served as a Trust Officer at NationsBank, and advanced as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch and UBS before joining Wells Fargo Advisors. He attended the Cannon Financial Institute and completed the three-part Cannon Trust School program in trust management and estate settlement. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
® certification, the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) designation, and the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation. He also holds a private pilot multi-engine instrument rating.

Away from the office, J.P. focuses on raising a blended family of six with his wife, Janie. He previously completed six IRONMAN triathlons and now channels that same discipline into learning to sail. In his free time, he enjoys sailing in Charleston Harbor. He is an active member of Christ Church Episcopal and volunteers with Meals on Wheels.
