Paul helps clients organize their financial lives. Paul advises clients with respect to investment asset allocation, retirement income planning, estate investment planning & settlement strategies, managing the transition & proceeds of liquidity events such as business sales, and structuring gifts to family and affinity organizations. He also co-manages the team's discretionary client investment portfolios.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, Paul spent 10+ years as a corporate tax advisor, primarily with global professional services firms. In such roles, Paul helped to develop tax and legal entity structures for domestic and foreign businesses. He also specialized in the taxation of corporate treasury activities including currency, interest rate and commodity risk management, and debt restructurings. At Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, Paul does not provide tax or legal advice.
Paul and his wife, Natalie, live in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
Paul serves as a board member for the Jazz Institute of Chicago, Glessner House, and Providing Instruments to the Next Generation (PING!).
He earned a B.A. in History from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University School of Law. He is a CFA Charterholder and Certified Financial Planner professional.
