Outside of her advisory work, Laura is deeply committed to giving back to the San Diego community. She devotes much of her time to helping underserved individuals reach their potential, with a particular passion for empowering at-risk youth. She is the past chair and a current board member of the Copley-Price YMCA, where she actively supports programs like Y-Strong Girls, which helps young women build meaningful lives through healthy choices, self-awareness, movement, camaraderie, and community engagement.

In her personal life, Laura finds joy in spending time with her husband, Tim, as well as her children and grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, wine tasting, traveling, and the company of good friends-all of which bring her balance and fulfillment.
