Since he began his financial career with Morgan Stanley in 1997, Steve has taken a comprehensive approach to financial and investment advice and helps clients work toward their life goals with personalized wealth planning strategies. The customized investment plan he develops for each client may include investments, retirement planning, estate and legacy strategy issues, insurance strategies, and any other elements that are integral to their financial lives. Steve can also provide access to banking and lending solutions through Wells Fargo affiliates. Steve enjoys working with successful people who lead busy lives and do not have the time, energy or resources to manage their financial lives effectively, so they are looking for a personal “CFO” they can trust. 

Analytical by nature, Steve feels that financial advice always starts with an in-depth analysis of a client’s needs and personal goals.  Investments are a means to an end, so his approach includes both strategic and tactical allocations to help manage risk efficiently.  He believes investing success is a “science and not an art” and focuses his analytical strengths into the PIM portfolio models he designs and maintains to help clients build their wealth.


A native Northern Californian, Steve and his wife, Stacee, have lived in the Sacramento foothill region for over 40 years with their 3 daughters. When away from the office, Steve enjoys fly fishing, golf, and playing soccer while maintaining a high interest in physical fitness and nutrition.  He graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1993.

Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Walter was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.

Whether your goal is portfolio income, growth, or safety, he can design a portfolio to help meet your investment and income goals. Each strategy employs various risk management techniques and strictly adheres to each client’s unique defined and documented risk profile and retirement income plan.  With access to a broad array of company resources -- including research analysts and economic and market experts -- Walter can help you make informed investment decisions based on your specific needs.

Originally from Illinois, he attended Tulane University in New Orleans and graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Chemistry from Governor’s State University in Chicago. Walter currently lives in Lincoln, California.

With just over 5 years of experience, Nadiyah Massoud is an integral part of our team.
