As a Financial Advisor, Michael has the privilege to serve his clients by helping them build, manage, preserve, and transition their wealth. His true passion is to help each of his clients plan for a financial future in a way that enables them to live their best life. Utilizing a holistic planning approach allows Michael to assist his clients in each walk of life. He seeks first to understand his clients’ current situation, values, concerns, and financial priorities. Michael then uses this information to begin developing a tailored comprehensive wealth plan that serves as the foundation going forward.
Michael has spent the last 5 years with Wells Fargo Advisors working with a team that has a combined 70+ years of experience in Wealth Management. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Michael worked in various roles in the financial services industry where he built a strong knowledge of financial markets, portfolio management, and client service.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Michael proceeded to receive a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2015. He went on to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, in 2022. The CFP® certification identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience, education, examination, and ethical requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board). For this designation, he had to successfully complete graduate level coursework and CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements. Michael holds his Series 7, and 66 securities registrations, as well as licenses for life and long-term care insurance.
An Alabama native, Michael and his wife, Caroline, reside in Birmingham. They have three children, Jackson, Beckett, and Hudson. Spending time with their young family is the top priority for Michael and Caroline. In their free time you can find them at the park, zoo, or hitting the walking trails around Birmingham.
Michael is an avid runner and is involved with his local running group. He has completed several ultra-marathon races, and loves spending time in the mountains. When he’s not training, Michael enjoys sports, reading, and planning the next family travel adventure. His volunteer projects include financial literacy coaching through Build UP and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of North Alabama Chapter.
