With more than 20 years’ experience as an entrepreneur and health care professional, he became a financial advisor to help solve complex financial issues, allowing the entrepreneur to concentrate on running their business. Investing is a serious venture and should begin with an approach intended at getting the investor closer to their chosen goal. This is why Mike works with his clients to develop an investment plan. A plan focuses attention on those actions that methodically moves the client closer to their objective. A plan is critical when investing. Mike is from Kansas City, graduated Rockhurst High School, Kansas State University, obtained his MBA from Baker University and has been awarded the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation by the College for Financial Planning.

Outside the office, Kylee enjoys painting and leading art workshops at local businesses, creating spaces that bring people together through creativity. Her passion for art and community engagement mirrors the qualities she brings to her professional role—connection, creativity, and a dedication to meaningful experiences.

Kayla Copenhaver brings a diverse background in banking, insurance, agriculture, and equine industries to her role as a Client Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, completing her degree in just three years, an accomplishment she is especially proud of.

In her role, Kayla supports Mike and the team by assisting with client needs, preparing documents, navigating presentations during meetings, and ensuring everything stays organized. With a passion for client service and strong communication skills, she enjoys creating a welcoming and efficient experience for those she works with.

Friendly, outgoing, and passionate by nature, Kayla is also deeply involved in rodeo. A barrel racer and lifelong equestrian, she loves traveling across the country to compete at equine events alongside her boyfriend, a steer wrestler. Rodeo runs deep in both of their families, and now, as a new mom to a baby girl, Kayla looks forward to sharing that tradition with her daughter one day.
