As a founding member of the Mountain Summit Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Matt Dickelman is dedicated to helping clients navigate life's financial decisions with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Matt's approach is built on a simple belief: wealth management starts with understanding people, not just portfolios. By taking the time to learn each client's unique story, values, and priorities, he helps develop personalized strategies designed to support their long-term financial goals. He believes the strongest client relationships are built on trust, communication, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
A graduate of Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, with a degree in Accounting, Matt brings a well-rounded perspective to his practice. Before entering the financial services industry, he spent more than 20 years as a PGA Professional and has maintained his Class A membership in the PGA of America for more than 30 years. His experience in golf reinforced the importance of preparation, discipline, communication, and personalized guidance—principles that continue to shape the way he serves clients today.
Matt works closely with individuals, families, and business owners on retirement planning, investment management, wealth preservation, and multigenerational wealth strategies. He strives to simplify complex financial matters, provide thoughtful guidance, and help clients make informed decisions through every stage of life.
Matt and his wife, Kristyn, live in Western North Carolina and are proud parents of their daughters, Campbell and Tanner. Outside the office, he enjoys playing golf, fishing for redfish in the South Carolina Lowcountry, and following his favorite teams—the Chicago Bears, White Sox & Blackhawks, Auburn Tigers, and Appalachian State Mountaineers.
